In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.
With six groups who can't get along in one area, who knows what kind of zany nonsense will propel one group to victory above all others? It's up to you, the members, to decide! Help us decide who's the best of the best when it comes to Pokemon teams, and have fun at your stay at Heavy Crowns!

There were plenty of days he missed Sinnoh. Somewhere deep down he did have an adventurous spirit, or perhaps it was just a casual curiosity for places he hadn’t been before. He loved going to new places that might produce different results to different projects he had been whittling away at for years. However, there were certain aspects of traveling that he didn’t necessarily enjoy when he was outside of Sinnoh.
Neptune wore his Galactic uniform most everywhere he went. It was the least he could do to show some semblance of loyalty when he was actively avoiding duties as often as possible. In Sinnoh this was a good uniform for avoiding battles. Most people knew better than to start any trouble. However, the sentiments did not yet carry over to Kanto or Johto, especially when the mainlands were steeped in battles over territory. Walking around in the Galactic uniform was like walking around wearing a target depending on the city.
He had only just left Cherrygrove City for a trip back to Kanto when he was stopped by two upset native trainers. At first, Neptune tried to just laugh and walk past them, but it became clear they weren’t letting him proceed any further down the route. He casually tried to talk about the weather, he tried to convince them they were wasting their time, he tried to tell them he wasn’t a threat, but there was nothing he could say to stop even the looks they were giving him. He really didn’t have the time or will for this.
When the first of the duo called out a bidoof, he let out an audible groan. “Really? Is this necessary? I’m just—” Then the second sent out a cloyster. A frown fell on the normally cheerful Neptune’s face. “Now this just isn’t fair.”

HE HAD BEEN THERE, for only a short amount of time. As it was only because he had a bit of business that he needed to complete before he could head back to the base in Kanto. They were often moving to keep the other teams guessing and him coming alone had meant that they wanted to keep their recent plans hidden from the other teams. Hakhem after all, was one of magma's ace in the holes as no one really knew he was except for a select few.
So, it just so happened that he was on his way out Cherrygrove City before a rather interesting sight appeared before him. It seemed someone from Team Galactic, was trying to get out of the city as well. The guy definitely didn't look like a fighter, but the two with him.. however didn't really seem to care. Now normal circumstances would have caused for the blackette to simply ignore the scene.. as it would probably only make him a target, but depending on who the guy was.. he could possibly geta favor back from him.
He didn't know he was the magma leader, no one did for that fact, and this could really work out in his favor. Besides, it seemed like the poor guy was gonna get crushed by such pathetic pokemon. Letting out a light sigh the man turned his attention that way and without any other introduction butted into the conversation. "come on now, just because you think his outfit is lame doesn't mean you have to team up on him." he said calmly. Trying to disperse the situation didn't seem to work for the other and it certainly didn't work for him.
"Butt out, don't you know who this guy is?! " one yelled. The other quickly joined in after, "He's from one of those teams and they are ruining everything!" A sigh came from Hakhem as he shook his head now. "And you teaming up on him, makes you guys look like such heroes? I mean look at him.. he's all.. strangely looking." he said motioning to the others petite form, not like he had any room to talk. The blackette coughed now. "Ah yes, where was I? Oh right.. I ask that you return your pokemon and this wont get ugly kay?" he said with a charming grin.
The two were at their wits end now, and it seemed they weren't backing down. "If you wont get out of our way we'll take you down too!" the taller child said. Hakhem sighed and shrugged his shoulders now. "I tried" he said grabbing a pokeball from his side and at the same time using his right arm to intertwine with the other limber man who he had just "saved". "I know you must have some pokemon, help me out as backup and I'll kick there ass okay?" he mused before letting go.
With a sly grin the male tossed out his pokeball revealing a rather.. well groomed absol that shook its fur. Upon seeing the other pokemon it moved into a battle ready position. This is what they did after all, and he was ready to begin this battle.

What? What. Neptune’s frown depend as another participant entered the picture. He had been so focused on the two trainers currently threatening him that he hadn’t seen the other coming. Before he could get a word in himself, it seemed that this strange new fellow was defending him… sort of. The insults poured out along with the aid, and Neptune wasn’t really sure how to react. The first thing that came to his mind was a defense of his appearance. He was tall and willowy, perhaps, but he had never considered himself ’strange’. Nor did he think there was anything too dislikable about his outfit other than it was a Team Galactic uniform.
The next thing that came to mind was to flee now that everyone else was distracted. Yes, that worked. He would just quietly back away and sneak off. Unfortunately, he felt an arm link around his own just as he was about to make his exit. He glanced at the man and then to the Absol that had been called for battle. ‘No. No, stop. I didn’t ask for your help. Shoo,’ Neptune thought to himself. However, he didn’t let the words escape his lips.
Instead, Neptune forced a grateful smile on his face and reluctantly tossed his only pokéball forward. His Starmie appeared from it, spinning for a moment as if to stretch after a long rest. “We’re lovers, not fighters,” he explained with a laugh. “But we’ll do what we can.” With a grand total of one offensive move, Arrakis was never meant for battle so much as she was for beauty and research. However, the two were a team. If this stranger was as capable as he claimed, then they could managed to wiggle their way out of a bad situation.
“Also, my outfit was tailored.” The defense of his outfit slipped out in that one side comment. It was true, after all. He had it customized when he was an Admin and was allowed to keep the modifications despite his demotion.
The first move was Bidoof’s who ran to tackle the Absol upon its trainer’s commands. Neptune only hoped that this battle would not last long.

AH THIS WAS AMUZING, to say the least. The other male was quite the cutie too, and he hadn't quite meant the things he had said. It was all in good faith trying to save him after all. Though it was obvious that his gestures weren't as well received as the blackette would have liked. Ah, he would have to make sure that he apologized to the other when this was all over then and that he hadn't quite meant it the way he had.
When the other mentioned that he wasn't really a fighting type trainer a frown crossed his face. Ah, so that was it.. this would be a bit harder than he thought it would be. "Don't worry about it.. I said I'd win and I'll win. I'm on your side and I wont let us lose." he said looking at him. His eyes held confidence and perhaps a promise in there somewhere. Even if he didnt' know this man.. he had given his word and that was something that he would stake his life on.
He couldn't help it though when the other mentioned the outfit. Oh if he only knew.. a small smile came to his face and a short laugh. "I'd hope so since it looks so well on you." he whispered under his breath back to the other. He only wanted him to hear it so thats why he had done it so. He was starting to like this man, and perhaps they could actually get along as long as his secret was hidden from him.
As the battle started the man smiled as the small pokemon lurched forward. "Delpha, me first." he commanded calmly but with a sense of power in his voice. His mind was set on the battle now and he would win. The absol instantly moved upon her trainers command, and her speed picked up almost instantly as she lowered her head and doubled the attack power of the bidoof coming at her and using her horn threw it back with double the force it had used sending it flying into the cloyster of the other kid.
"Prepare for a comeback." he said to both his pokemon and the man that was with him. He expected them to retaliate quickly. If this guy really had something he could do to get absol out of enemy territory he would best do it now. delpha, super luck, level 1 : perish song, razor wind, me first

To say that Neptune admired the stranger’s confidence would not be completely honest. He kept a smile on his face, of course, but the Galactic Elite had his doubts. He did not know this person. He knew nothing about who he was or where he came from. All he knew was what could readily be observed. He was not too young, not unattractive, and not hesitant—perhaps he was foolhardy, but only the results of the battle would reveal the truth of that.
It would have been easy to make quick judgements, but he decided to withhold his opinions until he could see what and how this man ticked in their current situation. It wasn’t like he could leave. That was one negative to begin.
‘If he loses, then we’re ditching him,’ he thought again to himself, his eyes trailing over to his Starmie. Outwardly, he laughed again. “Oh, I look good in everything.” He did not whisper. Even in the worst situations, he was a shameless and casual with boasting. It was bad to take things too seriously, right? Right. “If you win like you say you’re going to, maybe I’ll give you some fashion tips.” It was a lie, of course. He had no real intentions of doing anything of the sort. At least not yet.
The battle ensued. Where it appeared that the bidoof would have the first strike, Neptune watched as absol moved in too quickly for that to happen. It went flying into the cloyster, which seemed to lock up for a moment in return. There were few things that Arrakis could do for the next move, but none of them involved being able to get Delpha out of harms way. It wasn’t sleep, it was too soon for recover, and rain dance would only help the enemy. It was a shame that this stranger had stepped in to defend him, because Neptune was hesitant and unwilling to play a part in the whole thing. He waited a bit too long and the bidoof was back on its feet. It was injured, but it leaped again, this time at Arrakis. The Starmie was not badly damaged, but contact was made.
Neptune finally frowned. “Arrakis, you know what to do,” he said instead of shouting out any orders. The bonus of being a psychic trainer was their bond and trust. He was passively letting it do what it thought was best. Its back spun with motivation as it performed Psychic on the bidoof. The cloyster was bound to attack soon after, but Neptune was going to let his hero-to-be take care of it for now. He wanted to take bidoof down first.

THIS MAN WAS GREAT, and he highly doubted that he would disappoint. Despite him telling the fire prince that he wasn't a fighter.. he didn't really mind. He still had a cool looking pokemon.. other than it being.. well.. water. He wasn't a huge fan of water types being what he was, but really his hate came from a certain white haired man that got on his nerves rather easily and always interfered with his plans.
"Oh do you now?" he mused only slightly at the man's response. He didn't think anything bad of the other but he would like to see those words put into action. Hakhem highly doubted this man could pull off his own style or perhaps even a dress since he had after all said anything. The thought brought a smile to his face now and he grinned even more at the thought of forcing the man through a process like that later. His next comment however made the man look back at him. " I don't need any fashion tips, I'm completely satisfied with my own style. " he said softly.
His eyes flicked back to the battle now as the opponents were scrounging about on the other side. Using that and the psychic launched by his partner, abosl quickly got out of harms way. The cloyster however, was tired of being pushed around and when the psychic was launched caused a bright light to form around its body as it formed the move protect to save its already beaten down partner from the onslaught of the psychic attack. Meanwhile, using the distraction as a opportunity Hakhem glanced at his absol giving her a slight nod. The female understood as her horn started to glow as she started to store up energy now. She wouldn't be able to attack or really defend this turn, but hopefully with everything they would have enough time fro their next move. delpha, super luck, level 1 : perish song, razor wind, me first

Hakhem’s reply was was finally brought a truer smile to Neptune’s face. This was far from an ideal situation, that remained true. Neptune firmly believed that he could have found a way out of the battle had Hakhem not appeared to push them into it. However, at least this confident stranger was starting to amuse him. At least a little. Perhaps he didn’t need any fashion tips, but somewhere in the back of his mind Neptune thought about how it would have looked if they switched outfits.
Unfortunately, nothing changed the fact that they still had a battle going on now. The cloyster managed to protect the bidoof before any more could happen to it, but nothing could be done. His Starmie only had one offensive move, so the options for what to do next were incredibly limited. What he did take note of was Hakhem’s absol seemed to be waiting, charging. Honestly, he had a chance to slip away at this point. The other pokémon had been weakened and Hakhem’s absol was busy charging.
Strangely, though, Neptune decided to do something uncharacteristic of himself. He stayed, and pointed to the bidoof again. “Arrakis,” he called, but no other words were needed. It let out a sound and performed psychic on the opponent.
Yes, he was well aware that Protect was in effect, but Neptune and his pokémon were sacrificing their turn to do away with the barrier. The next move would be up to absol.

DESPITE WHAT HE HAD SAID, the battle was actually going quite swimmingly. The other had put up a protect to distract the enemy and give bidoof time to recover but with the help of this new man the cloyster was kept busy. It was enough time that delpha could charge her razor wind, and the minute the protect fell her horn began to glow. Without having to say anything Hakhem pointed at the two pokemon near each other. "Now!" he called as the absol fell on her back paws before falling back down.
Swinging her head, blades of what resembled pure light where shot at the opponent, separating into what looked like at least 50 half-moon shaped lights. The two didn't have time to really avoid the move and with the bidoof already injured, it didn't stand a chance as it fainted upon being hit with a few of the razors while the rest took their toll on the cloyster. It had managed to close its shell some, but it was still obvious that the move had done some major damage.
The two that had challenged seemed almost in shock that they had been bested so easily. The smallest one quickly returned his bidoof and looked at the other. "W-We will make sure you pay next time.. when there isn't anyone to help you." he said to Neptune, but the shakiness in his voice didn't seem quite like a threat. The slightly larger boy knew he was outnumbered and quickly returned his badly injured Cloyster. "Yeah.. just you wait! W-We will take back our home from you awful people!" he yelled before turning and booking it out of there.
Hakhem relaxed some as Delpha seemed to stretch almost bored with how that had turned out. Leaving the dark type out for the moment, Hakhem extended his hand to the other. "Quite modest aren't you? You did just fine in that battle and it helped out a lot.. so I appreciate it." he said. Normally Hakhem wasn't this open with people, but he just had a double battle with this guy.. that made them less than strangers ... right? delpha, super luck, level 1 : perish song, razor wind, me first

Now that was impressive. Interesting even. The attack that Delpha had been charing was an outstanding success, sending his enemies running like animals with their tails between their legs. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t amused by the empty threats, even if he did worry if he made himself from longterm enemies through what had just happened.
“Modesty isn’t really the point. Arrakis doesn’t like battling, and certainly wouldn’t do it alone,” he sighed, motioning to his Starmie who was already performing Recover on itself and Delpha. It’s true, Arrakis wasn’t totally helpless. It was nice to know that its one offensive move did not remain in vain. However, its skills were mainly supportive and built towards his own longterm goal of communicating through space. It was a gentle creature who had psychically scolded him in his youth for any reckless action he took, so it was fortunate that he always had his training goals on coordination back then, or it probably would have left him.
When the two pokémon seemed completely healed from the little exertion they had to make, Neptune called Arrakis back to its pokémon. “Trainers in the mainland are so feisty, but I can usually talk my way out of a battle. At least when people don’t jump in and insist on helping me fight when I’d rather just not. But you can pretend that the appreciation is mutual if you’d like.” He was being painfully honest, but he still laughed. They had won, so he couldn’t really be mad about it.
Proper introductions were in order now that the battle was over. He held out a hand to the man who was still mostly a stranger to him. “They call me Neptune, obviously hailing from Team Galactic of the Sinnoh region. And you aaare..?”
Post by HAKHEM VESHNIR on Oct 29, 2014 14:32:36 GMT -6
THAT WAS REALLY TOO EASY, hakhem thought as he watched the two scurry along to do whatever it was that they were gonna do at this point. Instead, the blackette was more concerned with the male that he had been battling with. After all.. he had kind of pushed the two of them into a battle that the other obviously didn't want. At the other's response however, a single brow raised slightly. " Well no one wants to fight alone." he said shrugging.
Hakhem glanced away for a moment before letting out a sigh. He hoped this guy would be interesting and someone to waste his time on for a little bit, but it seemed otherwise. The magma leader did notice however, as the star-like pokemon started to heal absol from what little damage she had taken from the battle and a smile appeared. "I guess I have to think Arrakis then, for helping Delpha." he said quietly. Delpha seemed almost giddy when the starmie did and gave the space-like pokemon a small lick before prancing around almost.
Hakhem hadn't seen her that happy in a while, and it made him feel a bit better. When the other returned his own pokemon, so did Hakhem quietly returning the dark type to her pokeball. A small laugh came from him at the next comment that came out of this man's mouth. "Oh come on, we won didn't we?" he asked. A grin crossed his face again and he nudged the other slightly. "Everyone needs a good battle now and again." he said shrugging his shoulders some.
Hakhem blinked though when he held out his hand, but he took it almost instantly.. confirming the shake that was offered to him. "My name is Kalem, I'm pretty much a wanderer.. so I don't call any one place home." he said with a smile. It was best to lie in these situations, and he was becoming quite good at it.. as if lying was second nature to him now. " It's nice to meet you though.. neptune?" he said sounding out the name of a planet instead of a real name.
"You must be really nuts about space huh?" he asked. delpha, super luck, level 1 : perish song, razor wind, me first
There is no such thing as one's destiny, instead there is only fate
“Fair enough,” he agreed, taking time to stretch his arms over his head after the handshake. Honestly, he wasn’t too sure about everyone needing a good battle every now and then, but he could have agreed that the exercise was nice. Not so much for him, but for Arrakis. It was good for the starmie to stretch when it was so often cooped up in a pokéball during their travels.
If it meant possibly making a new pokémon friend, then all the better. He once had a slew of Staryu and Starmie to his title, but only Arrakis was allowed to remain at his side when his research was shut down. The display of affection had not gone unnoticed, and that was more than enough for him to remain patient with the man he now knew as Kalem. That, and they had they had won the battle, just as promised.
Neptune gave a reluctant nod to the question. “Kalem, then. I suppose you could say that, but let’s put it this way. You’re a wanderer. If that’s by choice, then I’m sure you can understand the urge to go somewhere no person has gone before. Some people always look forward for the next journey, but Galactic always looks up. Make sense?”
Perhaps that didn’t really disqualify him from being nuts about space, but at least his curiosity and love for the stars seemed justified when he worded it that way. Surely someone who claimed they were a wanderer could understand to an extent.
“I mean, if you had the opportunity to explore and unlock the mysteries behind the stars, wouldn’t you?”

IT SEEMED THEY WERE ON THE SAME PAGE, as the other agreed with him to a certain point. It was odd, to feel himself battling side by side with a eventual rival of his beloved team. This man though, he wouldn't really have to ever see him again right? So it wouldn't cause any problems if he became slightly close. It wasn't like ... he would have to end up fighting him in the future. There was always that chance.. but even so.. somewhere deep inside something craved to not be lonely anymore.
At his response the blackette looked back at him quietly. "I can understand. It's the thrill, but also the curiosity. It's in my best interest, being who I am to keep moving, staying in one place isn't enough for me. For you.. it's the same right.. like just within your grasp you can find what you're looking for. You'll never be able to grasp it though... unless you keep pushing .." he said quietly. It was true.. in a sense Hakhem was a wanderer but not the type this man thought he was.
Even now, the blackette was still searching for something... but he still wasn't sure what it was. His thoughts were broken again as the man continued in his speech. A small smile formed his face as he nodded himself, becoming more at ease around this man by the moment. " I guess in a sense.. I could understand that wish. It's not the stars that I need to find the mystery too. I still feel like.. I haven't even unlocked all the mysteries that are here in front of me. I should probably find those out first.." he said pausing a moment before glancing away.
"Before I try to unlock the stars.."
There is no such thing as one's destiny, instead there is only fate
There was the slightest moment of discomfort caused by Hakhem’s words, though Neptune didn’t show it. He kept a smile on his face, but he did cross his arms and give a thoughtful head tilt. He’d never be able to grasp what he truly desired unless he kept pushing? Yes, that was the reason he stayed in Galactic. That was the reason they still had his loyalty despite everything. However, he knew better than anyone that at some point he had stopped truly pushing. The some point where he had thrown all of his cards into one pile only for it to be entirely swept away. He had some things to show for it, but otherwise all he had left was Arrakis and the name Neptune.
There was no way he could argue with someone who was still pushing. He admired the drive this newfound acquaintance had, and liked him that much more for the restraint he seemed to also possess despite his doubts. Growing up, Neptune had always been a boy who stared up at the stars and longed for answers. He had never once thought much of the earthly world aside from what could be connected to that longing for the stars. Perhaps he might have missed something in life with his eyes always turned up, but anything else just wouldn’t do. It wasn’t enough.
Neptune had tried to justify his ideas to himself after being called a space nut, but it only took Hakhem a few comments to question it after all. But that wasn’t a bad thing. “You know, I think I like you. How about we make it easier for ourselves and meet halfway. You unlock your mysteries here, and I’ll unlock the stars.”
He laughed again as if it was a joke, but it wasn’t. Not entirely. “Is there any mystery in particular you’re trying to solve currently?”

HAD HE GONE TOO FAR, the blackette wondered as the other had become silent for a while. Hakhem however, was in a bit of his own desires to really notice. He didn't understand that the other was still having problems of his own with what he wanted to do with his goal in life. To explore space.. and what was out there.. what a dream.. Hakhem just couldn't see himself leaving the ground. That was just him.. perhaps he had to many things here to do on earth.
A small smile formed the blackette's face when the other finally responded to him. "I think that sounds like a good plan. We don't have to double back that way right?" he said with a small smile to the other. If he found out the answers in space, perhaps Hakhem could figure out the things here on the earth. The earth had so much to offer, it was why he wished to expand it so much.. and had given himself fully to team magma. It felt like it was a good reason to live and give himself too.
His next question however, caught Hakhem off guard. What... was he solving. A small laugh came from the blackette, not that it was funny.. but that he had never been asked that question before. A smile once again formed his face again as he looked at the other. "You know.. for all my years.. no one has asked me that question. To be honest with you.. I'm still trying to figure myself out enough to know.." he said giving the other the kindest smile he could.
"I guess.. I want to know ... what we do to the earth.. how we as people have changed it. One day we may have to live in the stars because we don't care of it. " the man paused for a moment clutching his hand some. "That's what I'm going to do.. I'm gonna stop the world from being destroyed." he said looking back at the other with determination in his eyes.
That was something he could commit to.
