History
Born as a very late spring baby, Simon had always been a happy child. He grew to be an enjoyable person to be with just because he was such a silly, clumsy soul. As a young child he was raised by his mother and father, had an older brother, and a best friend that went by the name Railey. They were best friends for most of their lives. Simon's parents were scientists when he was very young, they were working on the original time project as admins. They were very engrossed in their work and so generally Simon and his brother wouldn't get to see them all that often. They always had a babysitter, or were over at Railey's house. His brother would hang out with Railey's older brother.
When Simon turned seven years old, both his parents were seriously injured in a freak accident that had happened at the lab. No one would tell him what had actually happened there, but his mother didn't survive surgery. His father did recover, but he was never mentally the same. He got fidgety and angry all the time. He was constantly drinking and wouldn't talk to his own kids without yelling in their faces or smacking them in the back of the head. Both of them did their best to get out of the house as much as possible. Their father lost their job and they stopped getting funds for food. Their father fell into a very deep depression and nothing could get him out. The only person who had been a light within the darkness around Simon was Railey.
Once their father lost everything, Simon's fourteen year old went and begged to the leader of the Galactic Team. He asked if both he and his ten year old brother could join the team as grunts so that they could raise money for their sick father. Having pity on an old friend's children, the Galactic leader agreed to the idea and got them paired up with a couple of new born eggs. The leader even arranged for them to be placed under an internship. Simon was placed into the Astronomy department under an eighteen year old Officer called Damian. Simon fell in absolute love with the Stars that he was working with. The stars and his adorable Emalga whom he called Regulus after one of the brightest stars in the sky.
Both boys grew in this life quickly. Both became engrossed in their work as their parents had. His brother showing great intelligence for his own study in the physics department. He would spend all his free time in his worked. So obsessed that his leaders and authorities had to pull him away from his work when they found him. Simon saw his brother reacting this way and so began to follow in his footsteps. Spending very late nights with the stars and then working on their own star the sun during the day. Damian had a crappy time trying to keep track of him and getting him to sleep.
It was around Simon's seventeenth birthday that the accident happened. His brother fell under an experiment he had been up late to work on. The boy had been so exhausted that he had made a very simple mistake in his calculations and he ended up in the hospital. He is still living under life support, unable to keep himself alive without it. The accident freaked Simon out. His brother was now in the hospital and his father was now mentally ill. Having to be cared for by a caretaker. He was now the only way for his family to make money. As an Elite he made a lot of hours and was literally killing himself in the process. Sitting over his brother's beside Simon made a promise and a deal that he would not continue to be in a state of obsession if it meant he would end up like his mother, father, or brother. So his attitude completely switched around.
Suddenly he was spending all his time with the Officers and Grunts, trying to get to know them even though he wasn't obligated to directly talk to the lower beginners. But he loved it. Especially the ladies. He started wooing them and flirting with them, eventually gaining the Training title of Star Prince. But he continued to dive into his work despite the breaks and sleep he was now getting. He was actually getting so much more done since he had started getting the rest he needed. Being willing to take on that responsibility and having the courage to change his character around in a 360 was what got him the admin job. The leader thought he would be a cheerful influence on the other admins, as well as an inspiration for the ranks below him, despite his young age.
