In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.

That was it. Elliot was done being tricked. Even his own moves were being used against him. This bastard had frightened the mother Zoroark into submission and loyalty. Undying loyalty was what Elliot would need from the younger Zorua if he was going to be able to train it correctly. He had an Idea, but he would need to capture the baby first. He was not sorry, but understood, to say, that in this plan of his the baby would never again see his mother. If only he could somehow get the mother to ACTUALLY come near him and not only fake it.
He was too busy wincing over his new found pain to see what had happened with the Zoroark after it was attacked, but when he looked up to see what exactly had happened he noticed that it was now on the other side of the room while there was a pool of water from Genesis's water pulse attack, but the Zoroark wasn't wet at all.
This was getting quite irritating. Cool as it was for Elliot to finally have seen a Zoroark in action, now that it had tried to hurt him emotionally and physically he was furious. It was time for this to be over.
He stood up straight, wincing at his wounds, and turned to Dr. Miller. In a low voice he said, "Dr. If you don't want Genesis to be effected by my next move, I suggest you put him away or make sure in some way that he does not become effected. This will effect even Nebula."
"You think you are any match for my Zoroark? You must know NOTHING about them then!"
Elliot narrowed his eyes at the man. He would not allow himself to fail this fight. Elliot DIDN'T fail. Even if the Zoroark could understand Latin or if she could somehow cause an illusion around this move, she could not stop it. Everyone would still become effected by it. All of the Pokemon anyway.
"Canticum mortem. You will not be excluded. I Know who you are. And you will loose miserably today. ALL of your Pokemon slaves will be taken from you and will become Rocket Property. Not you will loose. You DO loose starting now!" At the end of his words Nebula stood up straight and opened her mouth. A beautiful absol like song came from her muzzle. All the Pokemon could hear it. Elliot did notice the Zoroark's reaction to the song. She fell to the ground trying desperately to plug her fox like ears. Glancing at the black haired man Elliot took this moment to bolt in the mother Zoroark's direction. He would only have a few more seconds before Nebula finished her song. But he planned on grabbing the Zorua before she was able to get back up.
The other young man growled and followed suit, but was not as fast as Elliot. Reaching the Zoroark quickly, he reached into her mane and pulled out the baby Zorua. It squeaked loudly as his hands pulled it away from it's mother. In turn the mother opened her eyes in shock and watched as her baby was taken away. She screeched behind him.
"WHAT! Where did THAT come from?!" And Elliot was right, the man had no IDEA about the baby Zorua. But he didn't care. He wanted to keep it from getting hurt. So he took out a Masterball when he got back to Amber and caught the little squirming Pokemon in one fell swoop.
"HEY! You can't do that! That Zorua belongs to me!" The man growled, kicking the mother for her lying, sending her slamming into the wall and then turned toward Elliot and Amber. "Give it back!" but Elliot grinned and put the ball into one of the empty places on his utility belt.
"Sorry, but she is mine now. Doesn't belong to you. I'll have your Zoroark and Lucario too now that I have her baby."
Nebula was now sitting on the ground panting from the energy that was taken from her body from the Perish Song move that Elliot had implemented. Growling in frustration the man began to race in Elliot's direction. Despite his furious pain, Elliot was ready for a hand-to-hand combat battle. This was what his teacher had made him into.
A monster.
"Come and get me." He said coldly, standing in a ready position.

Amber has not felt much pain in her life, physically and definitely emotionally as well, so she was more interested in the pain she was feeling on her body than really afraid. Sure, it was incredibly painful, more so than for someone that was used to feeling something like this. Her hand moved to her arm, pressing into the cut as if to test how painful it was to her. It was good to learn about pain, she was sure that she's put quite a few people and Pokemon through trials of pain but has never gone through it herself, how terrible. Amber made a mental note that she should probably test her own pain tolerance at a later date, simply for the fun of it. She would also have to test the healing properties of humans verse Pokemon and perhaps try and create a serum to speed of the process for humans, then do nothing with it because she only liked the idea of being able to make one, she'd never distribute it. Ah, yes, even in pain that she's never experienced before her brain only seemed to register the things that she could do with it.
Genesis looked annoyed that it's attack had missed, that this Zoroark was too good at it's illusions. Amber was going to call out for her Frogadier to use it's nearly unparalleled speed to try and catch the Zoroark off guard until Elliot stopped her with a warning, her eyes narrowed very slightly and she wondered what he would do before returning Genesis before the water type could even let out a call of complaint. She was not above heading a warning, after all she didn't want her Frogadier to be left useless to her, she needed his quick movements and the flexible, sticky bubble substance around his neck in order to detain this man. "Make this move count then." She stated simply, watching him closely before her eyes went to Nebula, and then the man, what this guy didn't know was that after this battle and he loses, he will become her little toy until he tells her exactly what she wants to know. Amber did not leave these sorts of things half done, she solved the mystery of the ghostly apparition for sure but her own curiosity wanted to know why and having a new test subject would be wonderful to test pain on. She loved when she was given people to use!
After Elliot's little speech, which she may tease him about later depending on how this goes, Nebula started singing, and her eyes landed on the Pokemon, quickly she reached for a device in her pocket, a phone-like object that was used to record memos she didn't feel like writing down or even certain things going on around her and she pressed the record button. She has never heard Perish Song, the move was usually never used and having a chance to record it would be valuable. Amber didn't move, any sort of rustling from her would only hinder the recording process and she watched as Elliot made his move, she nearly cursed when she heard the yelling and hoped it would be a quick clean up of the recording to make it useful for her. She watched him take away the baby Zorua from its mother, a nice move to go for the small, young one, the older one was proving difficult and probably wouldn't be trustworthy in the least. She stopped the recording when the song was done, mentally cursing these two for being so loud during it but acted like nothing happened.
Amber chuckled at the brash way these two were acting and released Genesis again, motioning over to the man that was running at Elliot, with speed that was impossible to see if you so much as blink the Frogadier was in motion, getting close and jumping, aiming to slam it's powerful hind legs into the mans chest in order to knock him to the ground and grabbed hold of the bubbly-like substance on his neck to force in the mans hands and wrists, getting the ankles for good measure in order to stop him from struggling too much. "If you beat him up Elliot, how would we manage to get any answers out of him? I find it much more effective to restrain them and slowly hurt them anyway." A bit of a sadistic streak is healthy in a person they say, actually no one says that but Amber obviously finds no harm in doing what she must and that might be the most intimidating thing about her, the fact that she has no morals, no guilty conscience, she can tear into someone without so much as blinking.

A smile spread onto Elliot's lips as he watched the frogadier tied the man up. Having this woman on his side was definitely a prize that he currently valued greatly. Even though she wasn't his "friend" or someone that he would naturally care for, he saw a lot of familiarity within her. Which... Then took the smile off his face and he turned to Nebula to check her out to keep himself from having to think about that idea any more. Familiarity. How irritating.
It wasn't her fault of course. It was all that man's fault. "Be my guest. I don't want to beat him up anyway. That would only cause myself more pain. Besides..." His eyes flickered in the direction of the struggling black haired man. "It would be much more entertaining to view your methods then my own. He's caused me a lot of pain today. And I have several questions of my own. A revenge session would be much more satisfying."
He pulled out Nebula's poke ball and regrettably pulled her unconscious body within it. When he finished he put her ball beside the little zorua's ball on his belt and walked over to the Zoroark. Judging by her appearance, she was passed out. Of course, she could be playing one of her tricks, but he didn't think so. The Perish Song move immobilized her. Kept her down. He placed his fingers into the Mother Zoroark's mane. He had felt it before, but now he could really feel the soft material.
She was much too far gone to be saved or retrained. She was far too hurt, both physically and emotionally. There would be nothing Elliot could do for her despite his own training.
He sighed softly and stood up, moving toward the Lucario on the other side of the room. It's wounds were harsh compared to the Zoroarks. Elliot leaned down beside it, but did not touch it. There was no sign of life. No sign of breathing or moving. It was dead. Beat too harshly by its master. Elliot shook his head. It was a shame. The Lucario would have made a good sell. Though he wasn't sure the Zoroark would make a good sell either because of her background.
He stood back up then and moved back over to Dr. Miller with his fingers in his trouser pockets. "The Lucario is dead. Looks like lunatic here did a number on him. Although I don't know how much we could get out of the Zoroark either. She is a strong adversary I agree, but... I don't think her behavior would be safe for another trainer. No. He's broken her." He glared down at the man with a cold gaze. Not that he cared about the Pokemon, but a man like him was simply disgraceful. "I suppose if you'd like the Zoroark for tests you could probably have her."
He leaned down and grabbed two poke balls from the young man's belt. He figured these were the poke balls that kept his two pokemon contained. He deduced correctly as when he opened them the Zoroark was retained inside the Pokeball. But the Lucario didn't move.
Dr. Amber Miller, Sorry for taking so long to get my muse together.

There was a certain type of look on the Doctors face, a dark and interested look in her green eyes that shined as she stared at the now tied up man, he tried to struggle but it wasn't the easiest thing to escape from. She glanced over at Elliot and shot a slight smile at him, "I'll be sure to get out any questions we both might have out of him, once I get him in the mood to talk." She was not patient enough to deal with the whole interrogation method of this. She looked at her Pokemon and nodded in approval before returning Genesis and clipping her pokeball back onto her belt, she didn't need this particular Pokemon for this, and she released her other Pokemon, Illumine. The Litwick opens his little yellow eye and stares at Amber, a smile on the candles face and in one movement it giggles, bouncing up and down and the little flame on his candle head flickered and flared just a bit. The little candle was, in fact, one of her oldest partners and they knew each other well but surprisingly enough Amber here has not tested out one of the things that made Litwick such an interested Pokemon, the fact that it can steal life from people. The floating candle looked down at the tied up man then back at Amber, who motioned towards him, with a creepy giggle it landed next to his head, setting down and seemed to be humming a little tune to itself.
Amber sat on the ground and watched, her eyes not leaving her Litwick while he did what he was supposed to do, she watched the flame grow a bit larger with each passing minute, and she wondered how it felt, to feel your life slowly being drained from your body by such a small being, to know just how amazingly weak you are right now. She looked up when Elliot came back over to her, listening carefully to his words and for a moment seemed a bit thoughtful about something else than what was going on in front of her, after all it might take the man a few minutes to realize exactly what was happening to him. She turned her head, looking over at the bodies of the Pokemon before her head shook, "I'll give her to Team Rocket first, her potential instability would prove to be a liability to my experiments." Amber said with a small nod, if Team Rocket could somehow rehabilitate(of this she highly doubted) or force the Zoroark to listen through different means then it would prove useless, she needed to be able to practice on a Pokemon that she could trust to listen to her, or maybe one that would even listen to Elliot who may listen to her if she put up the right option. "But do train that Zorua well, I may ask to use its powers in the future."
By now she could see the physical change in the man, he was paler, his breathing more labored, his struggling against the bindings weaker, and she almost wished that she could see this the whole way through and she put her hand to his chest and checked his pulse, fast but weak and she wondered how much fear he must be in, to know he was going to die. Some humans might seem as though they were unafraid of death, that they were willing to put themselves in harms way but human nature was hard to ignore, even for someone so stubborn and hard-headed. Death was the worlds greatest fear, the unknown of the end, the darkness overtaking your vision, the fear of becoming absolutely nothing. Most people would do anything to live, say anything in order to make the pain and fear stop. Death like this was probably painful, slowly suffocating and feeling your body struggle, unable to barely even breath, lung collapsing. Curious and she glanced over at Litwick, the flame pokemon stopping in taking the mans life, it's flame large and brightening up the whole room with an eerie glow, the mans own stolen life force allowing such a flame "Tell me everything." She stated this calmly, a demand that was stated in and of itself that he would live if he did as she demanded. If he didn't? She'd put him through it all over again, creeping a little bit closer to cold fingers of death each time until he couldn't take it anymore.

Elliot had missed the beginning part of what Amber had begun to do to the black haired man, but when he did realize what she had started it was like a scary movie. You wanted so desperately to look away, but were so haunted and drawn into the scene, that looking away was not an option. Perhaps it was the idea you yourself may get the same treatment and so would look for your own safety. Or perhaps it was the shame that you could find yourself on the opposite side of the coin. The one actually doing the unspeakable thing.
This wasn't so much scary to Elliot as it was mesmerizing. The light of the fire, flickering and lighting up the room. The thoughts of how it might feel, or the irony of the light being created by death itself, went through his mind and haunted his heart. But there was a strange feeling that went along with it. A harmful feeling. He could see it eating himself little by little. He actually enjoyed seeing the life drain from the man's face.
He struggled. Struggled against the bonds that held him. He could see the look in her eyes and could feel his heart both sink and flare. Fury had always saved him. Fury and anger. But the despair that held him now was getting in the way. Both his Pokemon had gone down. Apparently he had killed his own lucario. And he had no idea that his Zoroark had a baby. What would be done if he had known?
It didn't matter now. Now that the litwick had been introduced. He knew who they were and what they could do. He knew their power and potential. He struggled in terrible vain to try and escape the stealing of his very being. There was no way he would allow this lady to make him talk.
But it didn't matter. He couldn't fight the loss of self that continued to go on despite his desperate fears. He began to loose his control and energy over his whole body, and couldn't breathe properly. He stopped struggling on the floor, shivering and gasping as he tried to take another breath. That was the worst part. Constantly having to spend so much energy just to breathe. Just to do the one thing that his own body did by itself. He began to cough and gag as he tried desperately to hold on to anything he could.
No breath. No life.
His vision began to blur. The darkness beginning to overcome his sight despite the light that the litwick was now illuminating. There was a sharp ringing in his ears, and a numbing in his toes and fingers.
His life force was draining. Where would he go? What would happen to him? What were these lunatics going to do with his precious Pokemon? He couldn't move, couldn't function. His thoughts became clouded and could only think of the fear, of the darkness, of the emptiness that would await him.
It was strange, but he thought he could feel a salty substance staining his cheeks and neck. Was he crying? He fought. Which only proved to be even more fatal.
But, when he had lost all but a few essential drops, the draining ended. But his nightmare didn't. He could barely move, let alone speak and this woman was demanding he tell her everything?
He panted... A deep depression and fear settled over him as she released the litwick from his death kiss. What was he supposed to do? He had no energy to speak, no desire anymore. It was as if all that he wanted, cared about, dreamed about was just gone. Lost to the overgrown fire of the candle Pokemon. He had nothing left... Nothing left. He couldn't even feel his body shaking anymore. There was barely any life left inside of him. Barely.
Elliot watched the man very closely as Amber cut off the connection between him and the Litwick. And a sudden though occurred to him. Could one become addicted to the need for life? There were times were he had been on the brink of death. Times where life was an option that he had to work to get back. But what if it was given back. What if, little by little, life was rationed. Could one become addicted to it?
Perhaps he would have to ask Dr. Miller to try out that experiment. Though he knew that anyone who that would be tried out on would never be the same again. Unless. He glanced over at the Zoroark. He wanted to ask Amber, but she was busy asking questions and decided that this would not be the time to ask her different questions.
He looked down at the man again. His panting was like someone having an asthma attack but not being strong enough to actually survive. He even looked like death. His skin had paled white with no left over pigment and if had seemed to shrink against his skin. His eyes were slightly sucked further into his head. There were even tears soiling his cheeks. Having not heard the man try to speak yet, Elliot had yet to decide what he thought of this specific method of torture.
The problem was, he didn't look like someone who could speak much anymore. He looked to exhausted to say "everything." So he stepped in and up to the man's side. He wondered...
The mind was a very strange thing. Torture could be physical, or it could be mental. And mental torture was just up his ally. They weren't going to get any information by asking for "everything." They were going to get information by asking for specifics.
"Can you tell me your name?" he asked finally, his voice was very calm and very soothing. But the reaction that came from his adversary was not the one he was expecting. Some kind of energy rush of the last bit of energy went into the man's eyes. They dilated into tiny holes, as if there was way too much light in the room. Even though the only light was coming from the Litwick and while it did light up the whole room, there was still plenty of shadow. Fire did that. Fire created shadow.
"Kane... Kane Faust..." The man's voice was very week, but a new sense of fear could be heard in the shaking of his voice. Now... that was interesting. He hadn't meant to make the man afraid. He had meant to calm his mind to get the information he had wanted. But now that it was different he glanced at Dr. Miller with a new expression, one of excitement and fascination. Elliot was all for experimentation done through science, but normally it was through someone else's hands. However, when it came to the mind, Elliot realized, he wanted to know everything.
"Dr. Miller... I may just have an idea." This excited feeling was strange. It was like... like he was a child putting together a new toy before he could play with it. He stood up from his position on the ground next to the man who called himself Kane. Then he moved a little bit away, knowing that if Dr. Miller followed the litwick would still be there to watch Kane.
Dr. Amber Miller, Do you know how exhilarating it is to play someone who is dying? xD
Post by Dr. Amber Miller on Nov 14, 2014 21:02:08 GMT -6
It was so fascinating, she was on the edge of her seat and watching this man with eyes glued onto him and she wished she had something to document this with. Her mind was relaying information in a speedy manner, every hitch breath, every cough and painful scrunch of this mans face had her reeling with fascination! She could barely keep it inside, her excitement, her joy, she has never seen this before and rarely would a person ever test it out, even for science, even for information most people still had a moral obligation to their own race. Screw her race, she had things to figure out, brains to pick, people to nearly kill simply for the sake of knowing what it does to them. He was struggling to breath, she could see the incoming haze of death and she couldn't look away. Amber wanted to watch the whole thing through, wanted to see just how much she could push and push until she couldn't bring him back anymore and her fists clenched and unclenched in her wants and desires to do such a thing. She was a different person when given the opportunity to let her experiments reach whatever horrific level they could reach. Amber couldn't care what Elliot thought of her, of this method, most people would be horrified but he hadn't tried to stop her or her Litwick, who wouldn't stop unless Amber herself told Illumine so, or in this case merely gave the ghost type a simple look.
Before she had given Litwick the symbol to release the man she glanced over at Elliot, he was staring intensely at the man, perhaps unable to look away, or maybe...and an almost amused smile graced Amber's face for just a fleeting moment, maybe he was enjoying this as much as she is, perhaps for a different reason but it mattered not if you enjoy something than you enjoy it. Amber didn't care that the man could barely speak, again she had all the time in the world to let him get his breath back, or maybe gain some of his life back little by little and she was certain that by the end of this she might kill him for the sake of seeing what may happen, or merely let him go with the fear of any Litwick laying heavy on his mind. Enticing new horrors for the sake of science, how wonderful her life was, Amber could think of no better way to spend her days and never would have guessed that searching for rumors of ghosts would give her such amazing study material. One day and so much has happened, she was giddy and pleased with her efforts but her hunger for knowledge was insatiable and she wasn't anywhere near done with this yet.
They got a name out of a man who felt like he was dying, Kane, and the Doctor looked at the man with a blank stare though in reality she was curious, his tone had fear in it and she wondered if it was how Elliot spoke, or perhaps the look in his eye that caused the man to speak. She met Elliot's gaze, head tilting at the expression clearly on his face and then her blank look took on an openly curious stare, the Elliot she had met not so long ago was stiff and didn't seem to let any kinds of emotions through his voice let alone to be openly viewed at by anyone. Clearly something had clicked inside of him, good or bad she didn't know but she was interested and was encouraging towards anyone who had a thought in their head, which Elliot seemed to have quite a bit so she, ugh, might feel some sort of respect for him. She got up when he did, following. "It is considered teasing to me when you say something like that but don't share." She commented dryly, holding a hand out to Illumine who calmly nodded and proceeded to bounce and lightly land on the mans chest, staring at him with one yellow eye and smiling creepily, the bright flame on his head causing a dark shadow to descend on it. For such a small creature it was rather terrifying, wouldn't you agree?

That voice. That tone of voice. No no. Not him! He couldn't be here. His panting got less and less, not because he could breath easier, but because the fear that held his attention kept him from being able to remember how to breath. He would do anything. Anything, if only that voice would just go away. He made a promise, a promise that he would never come near him again, even for help. Because his voice was only manipulation and a sense of complete darkness. Why was Kane this way? It was because of that voice. It haunted him. Haunted his waking nightmares and his every decision.
He wouldn't tell them anything. Just take him away from here and give him life back. He would leave all they want, but there was no way he was passing off information to that snake.
Suddenly he could feel adrenaline flaring through his body. He began to shake uncontrollably, not being able to stop himself. It wasn't that he was cold, not at all. And it wasn't that he could move himself. No, his body was too exhausted from loosing all that energy but a new burst of energy had effected his nerves. His very thoughts. Adrenaline. Adrenaline. He wanted to get out he wanted to go so far from here that even the darkness would feel like home to him.
When she walked over and made a sarcastic comment about his own excitement he opened his mouth to respond, but something interrupted him. Kane's condition had changed. He looked behind him and noticed the man shaking with an uncontrollable rush. But he was stuck in one position, as if he was dying from hypothermia.
The plan forming within Elliot's mind became even more elaborate and finished. "He is breaking... But... I think I know why. He looks very much like my former teacher. I think they are closely related, possibly brothers. Kane would be younger of course, perhaps his older brother tried his own teaching methods on his younger brother first? Obviously Kane was an experimental failure." The excitement was almost too much for him. He searched for the answers. Did he care for this man? No, not in the slightest. In fact he hated Kane. Hated him, if he was correct by his heritage, and wanted him to suffer greatly for how much the Faust name had done to him.
"Its all about his mind. If we can break down his mind, then perhaps we could get the information we need. I may not remember much of how my teacher taught me. But I do remember what he taught me. His weakness is the voice that his brother would use. The fear of it? hmmn... I'm not sure what Kaun did to him so long ago, but it certainly mentally changed him. Besides, there is a technique that I am interested in now. Life Force Addiction."
He said no more, mostly to be dramatic, but he was sure that Dr. Miller could figure it out by the words he spoke and his slight gesture to the litwick messing around with Kane. "Maybe this won't be a long enough session. But perhaps we could use it on the mother Zoroark to get control over her? Anyway. There are some questions I have for Kane, but I wanted to see what you thought of this first, since you are the expert in this area."
Dr. Amber Miller, Sorry! D: I knew how to respond, just didn't know how to express it.
