In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.
With six groups who can't get along in one area, who knows what kind of zany nonsense will propel one group to victory above all others? It's up to you, the members, to decide! Help us decide who's the best of the best when it comes to Pokemon teams, and have fun at your stay at Heavy Crowns!

On the very rare occasion that no amount of work and medication-and more work and more medication-and work, work, work was not enough to distract from being on the edge of his sanity, he would finally do what nature dictates all living things to do and breath some fresh air. However, it wasn't said that he would enjoy it. He only did it because there is empirical evidence supporting that fresh air and being outside is actually good for you (for whatever reason that was). Kian was definitely not an outside person. As a child, outside meant that he was about to do harsh, dirty work. On top of that, he has grown up to be a scientist.A very...indoors job
But he couldn't deny the headache he had been nursing since he woke up at three in the morning today was finally fading and his tense posture relaxed enough for him to hold his head high in a dignified manner. Not that it would matter in this empty, useless town. So Galactic was currently in conditions deemed unfavorable. It was better than having territories in your favor and not dominating the competition.
At least in this land he could sit out and look at the ocean...now that he thought about it, it was the first time that he had seen the ocean in person. Was this the kind of thing people got excited over? Kian felt as empty as ever when looking out at the endless blew tides. He inhaled the damp salty air that came with the nature of such an environment and closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind of all thoughts.
... Actually, Anomie would enjoy getting out of his ball to go for a swim, wouldn't he? He hoped that the salt of the water wouldn't be too severe on the pokemon's skinlike membrane. But seeing how they were close to a sand bank, the salinity of the water couldn't be as bad as the deep waters.
After a brief moment of mental debate, he finally let the eelektross free. The pokemon looked to his owner and gave a nod of acknowledgement before slithering into the water, most likely so he could go for a hunt. Kian decided to sit on the beach's sand using his lab coat as a beach towel. He watched intensely as the pokemon's fin slowly sunk further into the water as the distance between him and the shore grew. Doing this was actually not that bad. For once, in a brief moment in time, Kian felt at peace.
Of course, this moment was incredibly short and fast-fading. Such was the nature of most good moments for the trainer.

Elliot was a spy. A spy that was damn good at his job, there was nothing better then a good adrenalin rush to waken the nerves, even if he didn't get caught. He didn't get caught. And even if he did, it was simply easy for him to get himself out of sticky situations. Especially since he was by himself most of the time. He was much more slippery then when the Rocket Leadership Team didn't think he needed a team. Elliot had a photographic memory after all. He could remember everything his eyes set upon. It was part of the training that was beat into him as a child and young adult.
But even so, it was times like these that Elliot appreciated the silence of spying. There were no elites, officers, or even miserable grunts trying to get his attention. It was just him, his thoughts, and Nebula who followed close behind him.
This time, Elliot was simply wearing civilian clothes. Nothing too fancy, just a plain black button up long sleeved shirt with black pants and shoes to match. They were both strolling around the city casually, since any other way would have been suspicious.
Anyway, as he was passing by the beach he noticed a familiar figure. Elliot never forgot details unless he deemed them completely and entirely unimportant. This man was a face from the past, one that he never got quite along with despite their most interesting similarities...
Being very careful not to make his presence known at that moment Elliot planted himself at one of the walls sitting near the beach itself, behind and to the left of the other man. He was very quiet for a few more moments as he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed... Waiting.
"Getting out of your prison cell Kian? What a surprise." He finally stated, his voice calm but definitely holding the slightest hint of sarcasm. Kian was a traitor, a Rocket traitor. Not that he really blamed the guy, but still...

If you hear something strange in my voice
As the cartilage tip of the pokemon's fin finally folded under the layers of the water, Kain managed to be at peace of mind. For once, he wasn't stressing over something or busying himself with tasks and duties. He simply stared out to the vast blue and breathed in the fresh air.
But a familiar voice jarred through his mind and brought him back to harsh reality. Digging into his mind, he picked out the memories associated with the voice and visibly cringed. Why would he be hearing that voice now of all times? Its been years since he last seen that guy, and he was content on forgetting him altogether.
Regardless, he spoke out to the voice he had deemed to be his subconscious. His mind playing its usual tricks on him, he assumed. Sure, it was probably what a crazy person would have done, but he long submitted to the fact that he was crazy in most people's eyes. And he was alone, so who would judge?
Clearing his voice and narrowing his eyes to more of a glare out into the ocean, he spoke with a voice full of bitter and snarkiness. "You sound envious. You must still be speaking from inside your own cage."

Oh this man. Despite being several years younger, Elliot had him down on a map. Inside and out. He knew what made him tick and what stopped the clock. It wasn't that hard to figure out. Even though Elliot didn't get to know him as well as he got to know the rest of Team Rocket.
A snicker slipped onto his face. Well, it was truth that Elliot had locked himself in his own type of cage, but this type of cage followed him around. It was the type of insanity that was always at the edge of his mind. But he would just shove it deeper into his black pit and deny it even exists. He knew that, and yet, could not allow himself to fall victim to it.
He moved away from his spot on the wall, the breeze drifting through his silk black locks, and he moved toward the man sitting in the middle of the sand until he stood right beside him.
"It takes one to know one my friend. Except there is a difference between wallowing inside that prison, and using that cage as an opportunity to grow. Envious I may be, but I would rather be completely free of my bondage, then be only temporarily let out to roam."

If you hear something strange in my voice
Kian's paranoid ears tuned into the surroundings for the voice. He had heard it, sure, but he hears a lot of things. He was certain this voice, however, was not his imagination. Then again, he always is certain that any of the voices weren't his imagination. The battle between his mania and his sense was fierce, but for once his mania was right. Elliot really was here, and the fact made him stiffen into stone.
Either he was getting on a new level of insanity, or this guy really have some nerve...
Kian didn't turn to him. He didn't avert his gaze from the ocean either. Only gritted his teeth and curled his hands into fists. "I'm not your friend." Kian started. Always a stickler on details like that. He couldn't have people going around saying they have a certain relationship when they don't. That would only cause rumors and fuel his mind. "And that sounds exactly like what you are doing. You wouldn't be able to get out here if your "Princess" hadn't lengthened your leash..."
The pokemon started emerging from the water now, only his glowing eyes and fin rose though. He was watching carefully for what would happen. Judging whether or not if it was time to take action, most likely. Kian looked right through him though, anger boiling in his blood. "I could report this, you know. It will definitely stir up more tension then there already is.". He doesn't know if it was a good or bad thing. Was that sort of fire appropriate at the moment?

"I'm not your friend." At the sound of his angered voice Elliot grinned softly and coldly. He'd always had a knack for making this man upset, even when his words weren't all that offensive. But his smile vanished when the man's next words were spoken.
"And that sounds exactly like what you are doing. You wouldn't be able to get out here if your "Princess" hadn't lengthened your leash..."
In fact, his smile didn't just vanish, a feeling of hatred so violent rose up from the pit in his stomach. He seriously almost smacked the man right then and there. He even saw himself doing that in his minds eye. But his only reaction was to narrow his eyes at the sea and feel his fingers twitch. For some reason though, that slight twitch was enough to wake him up from that anger, which he shoved back down into its pit. The strange part was, in all the time since he had left the teaching of his master Kaun, he had never felt rage that fierce or felt his fingers twitch like that because of an action that he had wanted to do. But was it the man who had made him angry? Or was it what he said.
It had been about the princess. He had become angry because of what he had said about Elise. How dare this man tell him he was a slave to his own master. Now that he thought about it that way, he couldn't help but chuckle slightly. That was ridiculous. Elise didn't control him. He controlled HER and he did as she said because it was part of his plan. No. She was not his cage and it was not her who had him on a leash no matter how hard she tried. No it was his plans that held him. It was his commitment to his own teacher that kept the reigns held tight. He may not be anywhere near the man, which was why his cage followed him around, but he knew he was always watching. Waiting for him the make a mistake.
"I could report this, you know. It will definitely stir up more tension then there already is."
Then he laughed, a smooth clear sound that rang in the salty air. It was only for a couple moments, but that was his first sign of full confidence. He also may be held in a cage, but he knew how to manipulate the bars to do what he wanted, they had become his vocal weapon.
Just before speaking Elliot turned to Kian and leaned down to his level so he could see eye to eye with the man. He sat in a crouch so that he could get up and move at any moment. He knew Kian well enough to know his impulses when he was upset. "Kian, you could report it, in fact, you should report it. But you won't report it. Do you know why? Because it would only cause problems for you. Sure it would be a slight annoyance for me and Team Rocket, but only because you'll be a fly on my nose. There would be some tension, but I am no longer that awkward officer you left two years ago. And while you may be an admin of Galactic I know your secrets and I will not hesitate to ruin your reputation."
His voice was sharp and cold toward the other admin. He knew this man's form of manipulation, but Elliot Carmichael did not take the manipulation of others lightly. He was the manipulator. Not them!

If you hear something strange in my voice
He was laughing. What was he laughing at?Elliot wasn't laughing at him, was he? No...he had just found some reason to have assurance in himself. Still, Kian couldn't help but uncurl one of his fists to rest his fingers on the hard surface of the instrument hidden in the inner lining of his pocket. There was no way he could get it out fast enough without alarming the younger male, let alone use it, but it was comforting enough to know it was still there.
Oh, how bold of him. Getting to his level and telling him what he would and couldn't do? He wondered how cheeky could the Rocket Admin be with his face sliced open. But he wouldn't do anything like that. That would be childish. They might both be admins, but they were on completely different levels. Just because Elliot had no hope of meeting his doesn't mean he had to lower himself down to Elliot's.
So Kian faced him and withdrew his hand from his lab coat. There wasn't a particular aggression in his expression. Just an unusual glassiness...his eyes were tired and dead, and he didn't seem to be looking at Elliot all too particular as much as he was just looking in the direction.
"You can say all you want about me. I'm certain it would ruin my reputation as well. However, unlike you, I've learned to mold something out of nothing in my lifetime and had to have started lower than the bottom many times. I'm not scared of your threat, I'd simply prefer to avoid it." A smile slowly crept onto Kian's features and he gave Elliot a sort of half shrug. "As for the problems? They aren't so much problems as annoyances. This is my break. If I report this, I would have been expected to follow up, which I won't because its my break. You won't find anything here because Team Galactic has more sophisticated means of doing things than burying bones in plain sight like Team Rocket dogs do. However, I would recommend leaving before my break is over. You will find that I'm actually more of a bee than a fly."

Fortunately for Elliot, there were not very many people who could piss him off. Unfortunately for Elliot, this was one of those very few people. Never before had he shown his irritation with the man publicly or privately, as Elliot was one to hide all his emotions, but the build up was beginning to get bigger and bigger. The pit that he shoved things into was beginning to get too full for anymore emotions or pain.
But he shoved it down anyway. Pushing so hard that red flashed before his eyes and he was forced to look away from the other man. What was this? Where was this coming from? This fury? This anger? No. No more. He could not subject himself to this kind of pain.
He looked to Nebula who sat beside him and he smiled as he stroked her fur. "Ah.. The words of a man with experience. Perhaps I should have learned more from you while you were still with Rocket. I may not have started at the same bottom as you, and may not have had to deal with the same kind of sufferings you have gone through, I mean I'm not mentally blocked the same way you are. But I've been through my own lows."
He had to keep his cool. Had to keep his calm demeanor, that was his highest priority. Why was he her in one of Galactic's territories? Not direct information. Layout. Layout and defense. Elise's plan was to take over the world right? If she were to do that, she would need more subjects. Elliot was a politician, a spy. He knew that Rocket's ways were choppy at best. He planned on changing its methods big time. But why would he tell any of this to his adversary? He would simply tattle. Ruin the surprise.
"I apologize for the intrusion oh great one. I hadn't intended on offending your wisdom." With that he stood up, not intending on really leaving, but he'd rather not get stabbed in the face with any kind of weapon that the other man might have.

If you hear something strange in my voice
Kian could practically feel the rage radiating from Elliot at this point. Kian assured himself that this wasn't his fault. Elliot had enticed him and he responded appropriately. Clearly the younger boy was more ashamed by his own comment in light of the what Kian had said than enraged at him. Yes. That had to be it. There was nothing to worry about.
And he felt more so when Elliot looked away to pet his pokemon. A beautiful and proud standing absol. He wondered what her breaking limits were. Would it be more than his very own Anomie's? He turned back to look at the pokemon, who seemed satisfied that the situation had distilled back down to calmness. With that, he sank once again, only the tip knot of his fin appearing at the surface of the water. Elliot spoke with respect and insight of his own life. Why was he doing that? Was he trying to get sympathy from him? Was Elliot trying to sympathize with him? Did he mean it? Thinking about it made his head fuzzy. Rather than trying to find the feelings behind the information, he took note of the literal words he said and disregarded their implications.
But the last comment flared him back up again. If not on the surface through body, it reflected in his eyes. Was he mocking him? He didn't mean it, did he? They are on enemy teams! He couldn't have possibly said that without it being sarcasm. But Kian didn't hear it in his voice, so he didn't want to comment on it. If he got it wrong, he would be making a fool out of himself. Instead, he had become incredibly guarded, face molding to almost a scowl. He wanted to push the subject clear of his mind before it sent him into a frenzy. It was a shot in the dark, but it was the only other thing on his mind at the moment:
"Why Galactic? Why not start with Magma or Aqua? Or Plasma, seeing how weak they are?"
Post by ELLIOT CARMICHAEL on Nov 14, 2014 14:00:39 GMT -6
At the other man's words Elliot stopped Nebula stopping beside him with a confused expression on her face. Elliot only glanced down at her when she peered up at him. It took him a moment to think about his answer, as, of course, he wasn't about to give away his secrets.
"Its not about Galactic. This just happens to be the place that I have found myself. I'm not here on an official mission. Its sort of a... Hobby if you like. You should know me already Kian. I live for information. And now that I'm an admin I have all the chance in the world to find it."
He turned back to face his former authority. That comment before, it had been mockery, but Elliot was Brilliant in the form of manipulating the mind. It was the most important weapon Elliot had learned from his former teacher, Kaun.
"Besides, I like to know about my adversaries inside and out. And maybe Galactic is tight lipped, and that there would be no REAL information here for me to discover, but anything is good for me. I just like to be prepared. Don't worry Kian. Galactic isn't the only one I watch. Besides, it would not be smart to start with the strongest team anyway. Starting from the bottom and working up is the best way. Isn't it Kian?"

If you hear something strange in my voice
Kian listened carefully to Elliot's explanation. He was just as much of a loose cannon as Kian had perceived him to be. He was right to have held him down when Kian was there, and now that Kian was gone, it was like releasing a parasite to break the group down from the inside. Kian fought the urge to tell him how no good could come from going AWOL unless you were planning on leaving, but he held his tongue. Let Team Rocket's maniacal members eat it from the inside out, adding to the many plagues and dysfunctions that it had.
Kian didn't like being loosely quoted. It was irking him and he was sure it was mockery. Elliot was about to drive him up the wall with these passive aggressive attacks. He couldn't be sure though. Kian could never be sure. There was...something wrong with his mind. He could perceive things differently; feel the hostility and frustrations in people's heart, mind, and words. It was hard to tell when it was directed to him or not and when it the person intentionally did it or not, but he knew it was there.
He needed to take medication to dull the sharpness of things around him in the world. Elliot probably knew this and was using it to hurt him. He probably didn't consciously know it, but it was hurting him regardless. Kian couldn't tell which one was right, so he opted for mild hostility, gritting his teeth as he spoke. "You use what is at your disposal in the most advantageous way your mind can muster. There isn't more to work than that."
