| allies | Neptune is not an unfriendly man. In fact, he’s quite the opposite. He’s capable of being charming, personable, and entertaining. In his past, he had plenty of friends as a coordinator, and there’s no doubt that he has somehow made friends within Team Galactic despite his avoidance of hard work. Any closer friends are likely either people he’s capable of having lazy days with, the fellow scientist that he speaks with on a regular basis, or those with endless amounts of patience for him. In terms of love, he is fickle and hasn’t dated anyone on a longterm basis yet. He’s not looking, but also he’s not opposed to the concept.
| enemies | This is a person who doesn’t see anyone as an enemy exactly. He’ll treat everyone with the same easy-going and friendly demeanor whether he likes them or not. He doesn’t actively act on his dislikes, though he does occasionally find ways to annoy them intentionally. On the other side of this, Neptune is easy to dislike. Though friendly, his lazy and persistently careless attitude can be horrendously frustrating, especially to his superiors. Also, Neptune can be deceitful. He can spin lies so fluidly that he has fooled many, leading some to distrust his words if they know him well enough. Really. If he tells you that he will definitely pay you back for the two-hundred dollars you let him borrow you will certainly never see it again.
| others | For better or worse, I would love to have someone in Neptune’s life who tries to make him take something seriously. He needs friends willing to bestow some tough love on him for him to show his true potentials, all the better if they are fellow Galactic members. I’m also not opposed to bizarre friendships between Neptune and members of other teams. Enemies or rivals are welcomed, too! I’m up for anything as long as it make sense, so feel free to suggest any ideas.
maybe we could meet again further down the river and share what we both discovered then revel in the view

oh boy can we be best friends. they can skip work together, and go get ice cream or waffles or something. also can totally steal research from galactic and give it to team rocket neptune so he can be like "look at this major breakthrough i totally made guys. im doing so much work. promise." also they can lie and extort each other all day too. that would be fun.
ohjesus yes. Well, mostly yes. It’d be great to see them skipping work together for ice cream and/or waffles and stuff. As far as extortion goes, there’d probably be a line there for Neptune. He’s lazy and unreliable with deadlines, but he’s not going to be handing off Team Galactic secrets for giggles. He may be apathetic towards the team’s larger goals, but he still values the team and its resources enough to want to stick around. He might, however, hand off some information he learns about teams outside of his own in exchange for whatever Liam feels like giving him.

Thats fine! lazy buds 4 lyfe. Liam is pretty loose goosey when it comes to information, as long as he thinks he is getting a fair deal out of it. Alsho who cares about TR when all you wanna do is take care of yourself. Also they should totally meet each other in an ice cream place while skipping work.
Awesome~ *A* I love it. Team Rocket has Viridian City and Team Galactic has Pewter City, so I guess they’re most likely to meet at an ice cream place somewhere around either of those areas. I’m up for a thread whenever you are!

So, I'll post here to make you feel better or maybe myself in return for not stalking that wanted ad yet. ANYWAY...ahem. I'm not sure how well these two would actually get along. If neptune is really laid back, he'd probably actually get along with Hakhem since he isn't quite.. likeable either. I don't know if on the inside they really just hate each other but are both so them to ever say anything. So it will be like a inside hate fest every time they meet but they totally act like best friends. It would be the greatest thing ever, not to mention we'd tots have them as the best comedic thread ever. Yeah.. this should happen, but no hit me up with anything you think as well.
I like it! They’re on opposing teams and Hakhem seems more direct than Neptune, but Neptune isn’t one for battling. He’d rather talk around a situation meaning any confrontation between the two could be filled with friendly chatter and a lot of underlying notthisguyagain, haha. I don’t think Neptune would avoid him though. With Hakhem being a Leader, it’d be expected for him to subtly try and learn about Team Magma stuffs via casual conversation when he can.

Maybe we can have them meet because of a pokemon battle? Hakhem could totally just suddenly drag him into it, or Neptune can try to talk his way out of one and Hakhem just show up and be like "just step aside bro" kind of thing. It would be a hilarious start no matter what happens, though I would love to see them in a double battle together.. it would be coolio. Yes, all the underlying whyareyouheregoaway yesssss. I don't mind if he tries to weed out Hakhem but he wouldn't say outright that he was the leader of team magma. He doesn't even look it honestly with his clothing style :T Tho if he somehow finds out I can see him trying to casually find stuff out from him.. could be total fun stuff.
lsdjfs If Neptune was trying to talk himself out of a battle and Hakhem interfered in a way that put them both in the battle, he would be so wtfman 8| on the inside and just laugh. I think that a double battle might be hilarious, but I can’t promise that it wouldn’t end with Neptune letting Hakhem do all of the work and possibly fleeing himself towards the end. And it’s fine if Hakhem doesn’t tell him he's the leader! It might be something fun if Neptune discovered it sometime later after enough encounters with him? Is it obvious that he’s affiliated with Team Magma though? <<

Oh my god it would be great! Lol Hakhem just butt in and get them stuck in a battle together. Tho he wouldn't have to worry about working to much.. Hakhem seems to have a thing about battling and would hog the spotlight anyway so he wouldn't have to do much. After all he got them in the battle why not do most of the work? Tho Hakhem wouldn't let him flee, where would be the fun in that youcan'trunfromatrainerbattleanyway That would be something that could increase/decrease their relationship I guess? And not really.. he pretty much stays as a undercover kind of thing as a huge plus for magma's plans.. so only the higher ups really know who he is. So it would be super interesting if neptune snuffed him out, but hakhem wouldn't be too pleased cause his cover was blown.
Yeeees, alright! If not flee, he’ll just stand back and praise Hakhem for all of his awesome moves so that he doesn’t have to do much then, haha. And not knowing he’s Magma at all makes it a lot less awkward for the start then actually! I like it. *^* But yeah, it’d definitely be fun if he could catch on over time. But not until after they’ve formed some sort of friendship-but-not? <3 Neptune’s primary work revolves around decoding and translating codes/signals, so it’d be easy enough to think of how he could pick up the hints later on.

i know we talked about these two briefly, but i thought it would be nice to post here to solidify the plot as enemies. maybe have venus be the chick that got neptune demoted/tracked him down and then helped someone else demote him. we could do like a flash back thread at one point maybe? or for now do a thread between these two in pewter where venus tracks him down and was like ur late u were suuposed 2 report 2 me n00b. or something, idk.
ldkfjsd these two. <3 Yes, I definitely like that! Since she helps with financing, she’d definitely have the capability to track him down during that stint he essentially went AWOL. He’s terrible and probably would have still been spending money through Galactic to fund his research even if he wasn’t reporting back to anyone for an extended period of time.
A flashback thread to that point would be fun! It’s definitely worth doing one day, regardless of when we decide to do it. I’m up for her tracking him in Pewter for now, though, too. Perhaps we could sort of combine the two ideas? She gets on his case in Pewter, and that can always bring up past memories?
I’m honestly up for anything that you are, so let me know your preference and we can get a thread started! *^*
