In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.
With six groups who can't get along in one area, who knows what kind of zany nonsense will propel one group to victory above all others? It's up to you, the members, to decide! Help us decide who's the best of the best when it comes to Pokemon teams, and have fun at your stay at Heavy Crowns!

Umeko wasn't new but she wasn't old. The blue haired girl with a bowl cut was reaching an awkward time in her career, she had just recently been promoted... and she felt lost again. She was no longer a grunt, she was given some sort of responsibility but still.
There was only one thing that Umeko liked about Pewter City and that was its Pewter Museum of Science. She supposed that was the reason why Team Galactic picked this city to takeover. She walked through the toll booth, completely ignoring its greeters telling her that she needed to cough up fifty pokedollars. She was on important Galactic business, not a spending spree. Then again, everything Umeko did was serious business,
She was heading to the fossils, head down, moving fast when her head collided into someone's chest, She looked up, plain faced and emotionless. "Sorry." She didn't look sincere but then again, she didn't look insincere. "Are you alright?"
Piper was mulling around in Pewter City, one of the places Galactic took over on the mainland. It had a museum, that's why the previous leader had picked it, the pinkette was pretty sure. It had fossils, but most importantly moon rocks. And what would Galactic be without moon rocks?
So she walked up the sidewalk of the main road until she got to the museum, and saw a Galactic officer skip the entrance fee. Quickly walking up to the counter, she figured she should pay for her underling. "Here's payment for me and that lady up ahead," Piper said, handing the attendant 100 poke.
After paying, she wound her way around until somehow bumping into the officer. Piper fell very unladylike onto the floor. "Watch it! I thought you were a Galactic officer - pay attention where you're going!" she said unhappily and stood up, brushing herself off.

Umeko blinked, she had collided with her leader. That wasn't very good at all. Why couldn't it have been a small time grunt? "Sorry miss Quinn. I didn't mean to disappoint you." She reached out her hand to help Piper up, but she was already up on her feet. She retracted her hand and rubbed her left arm, her face blank while her mind raced.
"I didn't know that you were in Pewter City." Small talk was hard. She didn't like it at all. "I'm here researching ma'am."
Mmm, her personal schedule wasn't something people below elite needed to know. But that wasn't a big deal. It was more that she wasn't sure what was so important and urgent that this officer needed to not pay the fee, which honestly wasn't that expensive. There wasn't a base in the museum, unless her underlings were hiding something from her, which would definitely mean some demotions or firings.
"What are you here researching, um," Piper said, stopping once she realized she didn't know the officer's name. Maybe it was time for her to go learn names below the elites.
Speaking of people with access to Piper's schedule, Neptune had not asked to be one of them. He just happened to see her on his way to report his arrival to an Admin. It wasn’t long after he watched the Galactic leader enter the Museum that he entered himself. He had been avoiding it, fighting his urges to shirk off his duties for just awhile longer. However, he had safely arrived back in Pewter City and the superiors who had known him longest always felt a need to remind him of the importance of reporting in often. He already had AWOL written on a record somewhere once. He remembered the previous leader’s threat, firm and certain, of knocking him all the way back down to Grunt or worse if there was ever a repeat offense.
Even after his personal project was suspended, he was loyal to Team Galactic. Somehow. He really was. Despite the downsides that came with working for the organization, Neptune couldn’t imagine having to work for any other team if he was going to work with one at all. There was something in the stars that couldn’t yet be explained. He knew that and it was nice to be around others who didn’t think he was crazy for believing that. What was one crazy amongst a whole group of them? He had no desire to be a mindless Grunt again, doing menial tasks he had no interest in. Even if the leadership had changed hands since he was reprimanded, he still behaved as if the threat was still a possibility. He didn’t really know Piper and it wasn’t really his place to try and get to know her. However, he wouldn’t put the disciplinary measures past her.
By the time he arrived at the scene Piper was already talking to someone, an Officer if he remembered correctly. “Sorry to interrupt, Officer. Leader.” He approached casually, greeting both of the women with a wave after their titles. “Neptune, reporting in. I was told to let someone know when I made it to Pewter City.”
Then he feared any immediate orders that might spring out of the leader’s mouth. He only waited a beat before deciding to bring up something that might delay those not-yet-existent orders. “Nice museum we’ve got here,” he commented, looking around the room. “Anything neat in it?”

She noticed her leader struggling to remember her name, and she couldn't blame her. Umeko was a petty officer among an entire team of people. "Hiraoka Umeko, I joined Team Galactic last year." She didn't express concern, or really change her facially features. She just looked apathetic.
"Fossils, simply. I have a hypothesis or two that I want to test out. If space travel is truly possible for a sustained amount of time, I think fossilized pokemon might hold some answers." What if they could fossilize a person? Send them on their way through space, and revive them when they got to their destination? It would cut costs in half, oxygen usage in half, and allow for a longer journey.
Umeko was about to open her mouth again, and explain more of her point but she was interrupted by Elite Neptune. She nodded towards him in acknowledgement but didn't say much of anything.
"May I head to the exhibit now, or would my superiors care to tag along?" If it came out as rude she really didn't mean it as such. MARSNEPTUNE
Fossils? They were Team Galactic. They were studying space travel, not reviving things. Cryonics were one thing, but fossils just happened over time. Nothing was the same after they were fossilized; it was just a way of keeping DNA. Nothing else. But the arrival of Neptune just set her off a bit. He was a rather annoying elite in her mind - went AWOL and got back in, and was sucking up, probably.
"Neptune, look, don't report in to me, you get orders from admins, who get orders from me. They tell you to report in, report to them. Also, you were probably trying to get my mind off orders with your question, so you get to go pay that entrance fee you probably didn't pay, then go report in to an admin. Got it?"
He pissed her off a bit. Everyone always used their status in Galactic to waive stuff off, and that really pissed Piper off. She also needed to talk to that officer about why she needed to do anything about fossils. Now seemed like a good time.
"Ms. Hiraoka, what do you see in fossils? Fossilizing humans won't do you any good, because only the DNA stays. I'd look at cryonics if I were you. They just put in a new exhibit here about them - care to take a look at it with me and Neptune, once he does what he should've?" Mars said, happier than she was a second ago.
Oh, ouch. Ouch. The Galactic Leader proved the reason why he didn’t put any measures of discipline past her. Even though he did not see the harm in reporting in directly to the leader, she was quick to reprimand him. He winced at the scolding, but honestly she wasn’t wrong and he would have been more surprised to receive any sort of praise for reporting in to someone like a good Elite. The day he heard any compliment from a superior again was going to be a very odd one.
Neptune let out an audible groan when she finally finished her rebuke, dropping any hint of professionalism. “Yeah, I got it,” he assured begrudgingly. However, he did not make any claims that he planned on reporting to any of the admins until he knew which admins were in the city. If he could avoid Venus, then he was certainly going to at all costs. Reporting to Mercury would have been preferable.
Part of him was tempted to back out of the situation altogether now that the leader at least knew that he was in the city. He didn’t want to push any more buttons if he didn’t have to. However, his curiosity battled with his laziness, if only briefly. The Officer he had interrupted expressed something interesting, even if Mars was just as quick to suggest alternatives. “No need to wait for me. I’ll catch up with the both of you after I’ve paid, then.”
That was just one more fee to tack on to his original travel expenses. Neptune made his way back to the entrance to do as he was told.
