History
they always teased her wearing glasses, for being smart, not going out to dances with boys because there was a special on about how pokeballs were made. she just wasn't a people type of person, liking machines more than people. piper was always smart, and knew it. top of her class, all that good stuff. she just didn't know what she was doing with her life.
at sinnoh's top university in snowpoint city, piper took a class under one certain professor in her freshman year: the head scientist of galactic. she was kind of weird, but she liked piper, and quickly recruited the girl for team galactic as a scientist. she finished her studies at the university, and then helped with the portal building. when that all failed, the head scientist was blamed for everything and ran, leaving piper as head of the division. some of the admins just weren't, well, up to the task of becoming leader, and she was quickly sworn in not even nine months ago as leader of galactic, for being the highest ranking peep after the admins.
now she's advancing on the mainland so they can expand into space, somehow, as the science division tells her.
