History
Since the day she was born in Cianwood City, Ingrid has always been surrounded by the ocean. Being the youngest out of two brothers and one sister, she was treasured by her older siblings. They always protected her, even if she didn’t need the protection. She wanted to become a powerful trainer, just like her siblings were, so she took Pokémon classes, trying to absorb all of the information she could.
As she got older, she noticed that most places that had bodies of water were disappearing, causing droughts that made water Pokémon suffer. She was saddened by that outcome, and ultimately joined Team Aqua. She didn’t want the water-type Pokémon, her main reason for loving the sea, to suffer from droughts and losing their main habitat. Her parents and siblings were unsure about her decision about joining Aqua, but Ingrid remained adamant about her position. She would make sure that all water Pokémon will have a stable environment everywhere, even if that meant taking landmasses from others.
