History
Being the eldest born son, Kauss was quickly shut down by his father. Not because he was a bad son, but because he was the oldest son who could probably take care of himself and even help out with the younger siblings. The lack of attention was very hurtful to him as he grew up and so slowly, very slowly Kauss began to steal things just to spite people and make them upset and then lie about stealing them. It got so bad over time that he would straight out lie about a completely obvious heist he pulled. But during his preteen years, Kauss began to get much better at hiding his heists and lying about them. He had even made his father a promise that he would no longer lie and no longer steal. He became the perfect little child. Helping out wherever he could during the day with a happy smile, and framing other kids for the heists he made during the night with a grin.
He became very jealous of all the younger kids who got most of the attention and Positive Attention at that. He would pick on them when they were alone or tease them in sarcastic ways while his father and other older people weren't looking. Most of his siblings grew to hate him. But of course his father wouldn't know that. He would threaten his younger siblings not to tell his father about him.
At the age of Thirteen he stole himself a Pokemon egg from a nearby PokeCenter and that was his first out-of-family heist. The first time he stole from a public area. Of course he hid it under his house so it was never found, but he took care of it until it hatched. By now Kauss had begun calling himself Mr. Hyde for fun and so called the little Zoura he had taken care of by the name Dr. Jekyll. In hidden Kauss continued to train the little black and red pokemon. Keeping the information away from both his father and siblings and then the rest of the world. By the time he was fifteen and his father finally found out about Jekyll he was already a Zoroark. Nothing was done due to the story that Kauss had weaved and the fact that they didn't want to stir anything up and go through a big mess.
When the family got a letter from their biological mother Kauss was the first to agree to meet with her even though he wasn't the oldest. He'd heard so much about team flare and even though he didn't care much about beauty like they seamed to obsess over, he did think it would be more fun to hang out with a team that wasn't his family. He didn't really care if any of the others came with him either. As long as he was with other people that weren't his many siblings. Having joined into the team as a grunt (as he insisted in moving up the ranks himself whether his siblings did so or not he didn't care.) So far his main goal has become, to prove himself as a worthy successor to his mother over his other siblings, even though he did not take on his mother's last name when he moved in.
On the outside he has become very kind, open, funny, naive, and a blessing. This is to manipulate his mother and the people around her to think of him as a good little boy. But having been placed under Adonis he quickly grew an "attachment." In the beginning of his interest Kauss would sneak around trying to make him miserable by stealing from him, pulling pranks on him, and then asking a million "innocent" questions when they did cross paths. He pulled information, got items and blamed it on other people, and got to see the admin be embarrassed several times over his time as a grunt.
Apparently Admin Adonis was being driven crazy wanting to know who continued to bother the crap outta him. So he set a trap himself. Catching Kauss in the process of pulling another prank. Course he caught him as Hyde (who became his alternate identity through Jekyll's illusion abilities) and not Kauss, but it wasn't very hard to put two and two together. Being slightly impressed by the boy's abilities Kauss quickly rose into the ranks and continued to work under Adonis himself. Kauss eventually dubbed himself Adonis's personal assistant or "Partner-in-crime" or "side-kick." So while he was trying to convince his mother to allow him to be the chosen heir of the Team Flare Leadership, he also began to "follow" Adonis around like a little puppy.
Course, being the twisted self he had become, there were other reasons for his alliance with the Admin.
