History
Colette was born to a pair of Flare sympathists. People who supported them but didn't feel like getting their hands dirty in actually helping them. They donated money and once she got old enough, their daughter to the cause. To be honest she didn't know any better and went along with whatever they wanted. All she really knew was that they were trying to change the world and she thought for the better. Then again that's all her parent's really told her. Eventually though she learned that they were out to change the world by in fact destroying it. She wasn't completely sure how she felt about this entire thing but to be honest she didn't have time to think about it.
Grunts went out of their way to undercut one another and try to stand out some and she wasn't about to let them get the better of her. She had no problem throwing one of her fellows under the bus if it meant that she got to push forward. It helped that she looked good and could afford to stay fashionable, especially once the team realized that destroying the world wouldn't work out entirely. Her ruthless nature while still being able to speak and act like a lady when necessary caused her to rise easily with many people underestimating her abilities.
