History
Born in Pacifidlog Blythe grew up on the ocean and learned to swim before he learned to walk. He didn't look like a native of the floating town, mainly because he burned easily and unlike the other boys he refused to cut his hair any shorter than necessary to keep himself from having disgusting dead ends. He was teased for being so high maintenance but in the end he didn't care. He knew that he was born fabulous and would continue to be so for the rest of his life, destined for great things. Like many boys from Pacifidlog city he signed up for the original wave of team aqua's glory, his natural abilities in the water helping him much more than anyone would have thought and his adventurous nature giving way to him blowing a lot of people's thoughts about him merely being a pretty face out of the water.
As the battle between the two groups grew so did Blythe's abilities. Both with battling and handling the 'haters' as he called them. Chalking their disgruntled actions down to just being jealous he continued to work towards what he wanted and that was to be the greatest member of aqua there was, the leader. Obviously the only way to do that was to get closer to the current one, so that was what he did. Knowing that the elder gent wouldn't be able to continue on forever he started to talk about how having someone younger, about how having someone who was able to keep up would be better on the lines. Rising from officer to admin he found himself in a seat of power, though not quite the one he wanted yet.
Finally when it seemed like he was stagnating he pushed ahead and while it was grievous injury that caused the old leader to end up giving up his place Blythe didn't waste any time in taking it. A few years after taking up the reigns he realized that while he was the leader of a great organization, they themselves were stagnating on the greatness front. Seeing magma attempt to get the upper hand by attempting to take over another region behind their backs he too turned Aqua's sites to the other continents, hoping to gain an upper hand.
