Amber hasn't really had much time in her life to have many experinces. But, she is about 10 years apart from her older brother, who left her when she was really young to go out and be a pokemon gym leader. Amber was really hurt, and started blaming her mother for not being a good enough mother.
In all honesty, Amber's mom isn't bad. Sometimes she's a little over protective and was always keeping her away, but Amber was sick and tired of not being able to do anything. So one day she ran away, as if to show her mother, and joined team Aqua. Now she's going around causing problems for everyone, and in all honesty Amber probably shouldn't be here for long.
