In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.
With six groups who can't get along in one area, who knows what kind of zany nonsense will propel one group to victory above all others? It's up to you, the members, to decide! Help us decide who's the best of the best when it comes to Pokemon teams, and have fun at your stay at Heavy Crowns!

It was with confidence that he carried himself, at all times. Arrogance, you could say. Even when he wasn't actually part of Team Flare, when he was just doing small errands for them, he carried himself with authority that befit an admin of the team more than a 'common thief'. But his arrogance, his authoritative air was all because of the fact that, without Artemis, Team Flare would be stuck. Without him, they were nothing. (Right...)
In a way, he felt that he should start crying. A normal civilian would get so stressed out by the situation and break, right? Be it anger that was unleashed, or a flood of tears, they would break. The problem was, Artemis was wholly against crying in front of people. Plus, his eyeliner would get messed up. He couldn't have that. "I'm not lying! Why won't you believe me!!" Yeah, he'd rather get on his knees and beg than cry.
But, that wasn't part of Apollo's personality. He'd have to at least get tears in his eyes. It would have to take some working up to get the not-so-familiar sting of tears in his eyes, though, but with a few memories of the past, that shouldn't be too hard. "Just believe me, please! I don't have your wallet, you've checked my pockets!"
Meanwhile, Clio was starting to look a bit...annoyed, her gaze trained on the two humans. She was starting to believe that her trainer was actually getting upset by the whole situation, and was starting to get protective.
There was the problem of Killian holding no proof whatsoever that he was robbed by Apollo. He was out of bluffs to call, out of anything but resorting to all out violence (that, at this point, the only thing really holding him back was that he wasn't too keen on beating up a random civilian for no reason, despite the bad name it would give Magma).
So, he went with his last option.
"Dmitri, leave the Trapinch alone." He didn't even have to turn to the Oshawott to make sure that he'd back off, simply because he knew that his order would be followed either way. "Listen, Apollo." Killian stepped away, holding Apollo's belongings out for him to reclaim.
"I'm sorry. Probably overreacted or something, because I know I didn't lose it. Is there any way I can make you forget any of this ever happened?"
Apologize and try to make it up. Because, clearly, Killian was in the wrong.

It was getting to about that time where he was having that feeling that he was going to get the shit kicked out of him. The guy looked pissed, he was determined to get his wallet back - even though there was!! empirical evidence!! that 'Apollo' didn't have it!! - and he was Team Magma. Artemis had heard stories that other teams - bar Team Plasma - were not against beating people up.
So imagine his surprise when the man told his Oshawott to leave Clio alone.
Blinking slowly, the redhead looked over to where his Trapinch and the Oshawott was, a confused look on his face as he watched the otter Pokemon back away. When his - fake - name was spoken, Artemis snapped his head back to look at the brunet, then down to his belongings. Acting cautiously, he reached out and started to return them to their rightful pockets.
Hah, he didn't want the police on his ass. Didn't want to give Team Magma a bad name. Regardless, he was going to start spreading rumours about Team Magma beating up harmless old ladies now. "Uh..." Actually, how could the guy make it up to him? He couldn't ask for anything like, the password to the Magma base. Why would a civilian want to know that? Plus, it would be a suspicious. Then he got an idea.
After that moment of silence, where he assumed that Apollo was thinking about what he was going to do, Killian felt himself shift his weight around uncomfortably. It was like he was on death row, waiting for his last sentence, and Artemis was now the executioner.
He didn't particularly want to do anything to help him, though. What Killian wanted to do was go back to his apartment and sleep. Forever.
Then, Apollo said what he thought would be the proper penance for being shoved up against a wall. Twice. Rather hard. What Apollo seemed to want was a date, to which Killian's eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed. "I almost just kicked your ass, for no real reason, and now you're asking me to take you out on a date?" And he was the supposedly insane one. Right.

Sure, it was kind of an odd thing to ask for, but Artemis had his reasons, and so did the quickly-made-up character of Apollo. Apollo was going to be the type of guy that always gave people a second chance, even if they were literally about to beat him up. Even if they did beat him up. Though, he would be particular and would only forgive them and give them a second chance if they apologised, and definitely if they asked for it. Artemis on the other hand didn't give a fuck about things like that.
This guy was attractive, and Artemis wanted him.
Apollo, actually Artemis, gave the brunet a sheepish look, looking away in embarrassment though Artemis knew that he wouldn't be able to force a blush on his face, so he looked down with the intention of having his hair cover his face. Then he looked up, a grin on his face. "What?! It's a second chance!" Shrugging a little, looking over at the Pokemon, he went on to answer the second question. "Well, you don't have to, but I'd like to actually get to know the you that doesn't get paranoid and shove people against walls because they apparently stole your wallet." Bullshit, but whatever.
A frown spread across Killian's features, Apollo going off on some tangent about second chances and acting all bashful. It didn't make Killian feel any different, though maybe if it were under different circumstances he'd find it cute in some way.
Killian rolled his eyes, frown never leaving. "I can agree to a date. One. Dinner, if you meet me in front of the bakery a little ways away at seven." He wasn't too much of a fan of it, honestly, but he couldn't say no. If there was a way around it, honestly, Killian would have taken it, but he also felt bad to some extent.
A large extent. He did kind of want to make it up to Apollo, and somehow, it seemed like this date that he was oh-so keen to having, was the way to do it.

Bakery? The light that suddenly appeared in his eyes might have been mistaken for him being happy at his request for a date being accepted, but Artemis was way more interested in the idea of heading to the bakery. He would definitely have to make a trip over to that bakery before the date.
"Just one date?" That was saddening, and Artemis put a pout on his face. Honestly, he didn't care much for dates, especially since every person he went on dates with because he loved them ended up breaking his heart, but he was now starting to think that bothering this guy and basically stalking him would be pretty funny.
The light in his eyes wasn't missed, and it was also very misinterpreted as being delighted at the acceptance of his date. To be honest, Killian was already trying to think of ways to get out of it - a stomach bug, his pokemon fell ill. Something that would give him a fairy reasonable excuse to avoid seeing this guy ever again.
"I'll be gone before you can squeeze a second date out of me." Far long gone, at that. He had a plan to just stay in Aqua-run towns for the rest of his life now.
A small frown, though, crossed his face. "Do you really want more? For all you know I could be a really terrible guy." He did, after all, damn near beat Artemis up already.

To be truly honest, if Killian were to try and get out of the date, Artemis would be devastated. So would Apollo, but Artemis mattered more than him. But, if Killian stood Artemis/Apollo up, Artemis would start stalking him. Well, he'd stalk the 'Team Magma' admin anyway, and always try to talk to him and just...generally, bother him.
Maybe try to sleep with him.
Lolwut.
"You'll ask for another one one day, trust me." Artemis grinned, winking slyly at Kilian, though the mischievous look disappeared off his face when he noticed Killian's frown. "Well, you could be. I'd only ask for a second date if you weren't an asshole."
Artemis could be as devastated as he wanted, Killian wouldn't have to deal with the consequences. He'd be on the first ship back to an Aqua-run town, and for all he cared, he'd never see Artemis- Apollo ever again.
"Uh-huh." He didn't sound too convinced, honestly, though the wink did catch him slightly off guard It wasn't expected. "Well, I make no promises on being a knight in shining armor and sweeping you off your feet." He'd be a really terrible knight, though.
"Though, a second date might be a little harder to negotiate. I leave in a few days."

How depressing. He was really hoping for Killian to be his knight in shining armour. Not really. People who were all nice were very... boring. No danger to them. Perhaps that was why he felt safest when he was visiting her.
"I- I would prefer you not do that anyway. I'm, I'm kind of afraid of heights." Might as well flesh Apollo out more. Artemis may even end up going home and coming up with a full backstory for him - the only problem was remembering everything he was telling Killian right now.
"Really?" Artemis put a sad expression on his face. Then, a thinking one, looking down towards the ground. "Well, I suppose you could give me your number." He glanced back up at Killian with a hopeful grin on his face.
Meanwhile, under the assumption that the Oshawott was distracted with watching his trainer, Clio had dropped the wallet out of her maw and was trying to hide it under some rubbish.
Killian was caught between deciding on whether this Apollo character was cute or just plain annoying. If the stutter he seemed to develop at the idea of being swept off his feet - which was, by the way, a metaphor of some sort - was adorable or a little grating. Either way, it didn't seem to matter what Killian thought.
"Figure of speech." He probably sounded a little more tired than he meant to, though it was more attributed to him wanting to go back to his temporary home than continue in the streets talking with this man. "Though I will keep that in mind." For scaring him away later, probably.
Of course, there was always a way around Killian's ploys. "I don't typically tend to just give my number out." He hoped it was a polite way of saying nom he wasn't interested. Sure, Artemis had something going for him, but Killian wasn't entirely sure if he enjoyed it or not. "If the date goes well, I guess I can think about it?"

If ever he were to meet a person that acted like Apollo, Artemis would, without a doubt, find them simply adorable - sarcasm intended. Mostly. Without a doubt, he would start picking on 'Apollo' and bother him as much as possible. Thinking about it... they may end up becoming friends. That was an odd thought. Apollo - from what he was making up on the spot - seemed like the kind of person to either get really annoyed with Artemis and become so angry he got tongue-tied and clumsy, or still act super friendly and like a ray of sunshine.
Weird to think that he'd probably end up friends with a personaliy he just made up.
What a shame. His new toy was getting tired - probably annoyed. Though, to be fair, the whole Apollo personality was tiring Artemis out too. "Oh." He simply said, feigning an almost embarrassed expression at not realising that what Killian said was a figure of speech.
"Well, obviously you wouldn't give out your number to a complete stranger. I did mean it like, after this date, if it goes well and you're interested in another one, you give me your number." Artemis gave Killian a bright smile.
Now Artemis was thinking about standing Killian up. Only thinking about it, but a quiet night in with tea and a book - maybe not a book but a clothing catalogue - did sound appealing. Maybe tomorrow night.
Dmitri was watching his trainer and his trainer's new friend go back and forth over some trivial matter that went far over his head. After a while, though, he managed to grow bored over whatever it was that they were saying - seeing as how he didn't quite understand much - and went back to focusing his attention to better areas.
Like the criminal Trapinch who was clearly up to no good.
Donning his detective frown, he left Killian's side to go see if he could kick up the rubbish that was being tossed about by Clio. To him, it looked as if some very important evidence was found, and that Clio was doing her darnedest to cover it. Dmitri, however, was not going to stand for that. Tampering with evidence, young lady, was a crime punishable by death.
Kind of.
A shrug was the only thing Artemis was met with for a moment. "Remember. Meet me in front of the bakery." Don't be late, don't talk to strangers, he could have gone on all day.

Freezing up momentarily, Clio turned her head to look over to the Dmitri, kicking up rubbish to see what he could find. Cringing, she decided to drop down and lay on top of the rubbish that - as best as it could - hid the wallet that Killian had lost only ten or so minutes ago.
'Apollo' grinned, raising his hand in a mock salute to show that he understood. "I'll remember, don't worry about it!" Now the question was finding the bakery, but Artemis had a knack for finding those sorts of places. Plus, they were usually the first sorts of places he sought out in a new town.
