History
as the saying goes: if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
from the moment opal was born, she had brown hair, brown eyes, and pasty skin, probably one of the most hideous infants for her first years of life. while she grew out of the general baby anatomy, she never seemed to get a break from some sort of injury being inflicted upon her. age five, broke a few fingers. age eight, broke her arm. age ten, broke her leg. there was a frail asset to her bones, the doctors would soon figure out. at least it wasn't glass bones and paper skin.
age thirteen was the first time she looked toward products for beauty. lipstick, eyeliner, mascara- she started using the basics, and quickly learned techniques for the better features. she took care of her pasty skin, protected her frail bones, and looked pretty overall. however, she still wasn't satisfied with her looks. that was when her hands found bleach and pink hair dye, along with a prescription for colored contacts (she had to wear glasses beforehand, so, why not). soon enough, she had long hair the color of peonies with eyes the shade of salmon.
opal underwent many changes to her appearance throughout the years, but the only thing that remained the same was her hair and eyes. she tried the scene phase, weaboo phase, goth, lolita, and so on- none of which appealed to her. however, she did find a new love for high heels, especially ones with spikes on the heel.
there was a time when teams and their aesthetic appealed to her, and she was swept away in the arms of galactic once entering her last two years of school. enrolling as a grunt, her plans were to change the uniform and style, since the whole space idea seemed iffy at best. so, that's what she did.
the female eevee named angeline was her only given pokemon, and that was enough for her. with that fox, she managed to climb the rank to officer at age twenty-two, given the new alias of saturn, and once she reached the mainland, she became an elite. the eevee evolved only a year ago, and to no one's surprise, to a sylveon. as of now, she's really trying to get into the custom tailoring department and telling them to tone down on the teals. or, at least, trying to tone down the vibrant outfits altogether.
