History
born and raised within a crumbling urban jungle, cassi allowed for her environment to mold her into a rough 'n tough adolescent. from a young age, she sorted out her own ideals and held beliefs, casting aside the morality held by her lenient parental figures.
as a child, there was very little to be had - a happy holiday's tree was no where to be seen - and thanksgiving offered naught more than a spoonful extra. she, and so many others, developed within a callous environment where only those with a toughened exterior truly thrived. her parents were disappointingly meek, going about their day with a humbled attitude as they avoided the attentions of the vast majority. they were nobodies within their society, and they sternly advised she partake in their non-existent reputation, too. with a heart filled with a thorough mixture of both bravado and defiance she denied their way, content in the harshness of life as she accepted the daily challenges and grappled with the concept of success. adventures came and went, discoveries a frequent occurrence , and the lessons learned truly invaluable.
the life of a delinquent had its perks. looking back, she realized how much she enjoyed the abundance of freedom and thrills. her fellows, friends, rivals, enemies; they all held a firm place within cassi's heart. yet, after so many treasured years of living, it came to a sluggish halt. her desire for money and the absolute need for a job caused the young woman to turn to team rocket for assistance. she was nearly eighteen, her original gang had split, and she had no real interest in returning empty-handed to her parents. so, she resorted to affiliating herself with team rocket. cassi was hesitant at first, unfamiliar with the process of paperwork, uniforms, regulations and rank structure. but it promised pay and guaranteed pokemon. tempted by her needs, the teenager signed up and acquired a simple pair of companions, gained a fairly decent amount of pay, and set up a career for herself. unsure of her future, she took the first steps and could only wonder how far she would go.
