History
Kaguya lived and grew up with her mother, father, and older brother in Opelucid City, Unova. Ever since she was young, she looked up to her brother, even though they were very unalike. The most notable difference was Kaguya's interest in ninjas and her brother's love of pirates. When her brother started his Pokemon journey, Kaguya couldn't wait until she turned ten so she could do the same and battle her brother. That time eventually came, and Kaguya not only got to travel the region but also got to battle her brother quite a few times. She never won a single battle. Kaguya continued training, hoping that one day she would be able to surpass her brother.
Sometime when Kaguya was sixteen, she spent a long time away from home, training her heart out. She hoped to battle her brother as soon as she returned. However, upon coming home, she learned that he had left Unova and had given all but one of his weakest Pokemon to his family. Rumor was he had gone to join the nefarious Team Aqua. While it did seem plausible--they did look like pirates, from what Kaguya heard--the teen just did not want to believe her brother would join an evil organization. She decided to travel to Hoenn and search for him. Similar to her brother, she left most her Pokemon with her family, taking along only three, a Deino, Kingdra, and Larvesta.
Not long after coming to Hoenn, Kaguya learned about Team Magma, Team Aqua's rival. That's when she got an idea: join Team Magma. Although Kaguya was not too keen on being part of an evil organization, she figured it would be a good way for her to gain even better information on Aqua's--and perhaps her brother's--whereabouts.
Thus, Kaguya tracked down Team Magma's leader and became a member. Although she hated doing grunt work, Kaguya did it for the sake of gaining the trust of the higher-ups. During what little free time she had, she did her best to gather information on Team Aqua. Eventually, Kaguya was promoted, much to her surprise. She continued doing what she did before: work for Team Magma and information gathering when she had free time. However, unlike before, she also used that time to learn about the other evil organizations. Without realizing it, Kaguya had taken on Team Magma's ideals and no longer felt uncomfortable about being a member. Her assistance and expertise in battling helped her be promoted once more.
