History
Azhar was one of those people who were enclosed from the world for most of their childhood, belonging to a fairly rich family who decided it woud be better for him to not interact with those from the outside world, because he might stray from their own ideals that they had for him. However, as he got older he began to get bored and restless, and with it came rebellion and recklessness.
He snuck out of the house on frequent bases simply because he didn't like that he was not allowed to, and ended up getting involved in a few things he shouldn't. He'd frequently get punished, with a lot of them being severe in hopes he'd stop. Which this was basically the most simplist description of his history, up until one point.
His father got involved in some illegal activities of "gangs", his mother would call it, circling around Kanto. He did it for money, like they didn't have that already, and he'd occasionally be gifted with raising pokemon (a distraction that worked for the most part). The distraction he was given ended upbruptly when he realized it was taken from other people, which he only found out through fights that broke out between his parents on an ever growing frequent basis. This harmed not only the relationship between the two halves, but also their child as well, which eventually lead to Azhar's initial run off.
Throughout the years, partially due to his upbringing, he turned into a rather free-spirited and strong-willed indevidual. He has an adventurous spirit, and has gained this nasty habit of going off on his own. This whole thing, along with having family already working in the system, brought him into Team Rocket as well. Granted, Azhar's not selfish by any means despite his first impressions and attitude, but he ended up willingly joining in the organization because of being his own ideals and personality. His main purpose in it is to get out of what he had before, an enclosed life with nothing to do but play with inanimate objects and money.
