History
the words of kaja novak's parents would never leave the household that one night in january, but by the end of the week, the two were filing for divorce. it ended badly, with the father refusing child support and the mother transferring from the unova region to kalos when the daughter was seven. the way her parents fought ultimately broke her, withdrawing into a shell she barely got out of by the time school started.
there was a lapse in time when her mother joined team flare, and she was abducted into the flare children crowd, ultimately finding her best friend in it's midst: julius, or jay, as he told her right off the bat. they ended up bonding in the next few years, and even more once they joined team flare near the end of school.
she was a grunt for only a few years before being promoted to officer, which occurred within the last six months. her partner, or her favorite of the two, is her steelix. and yeah, she rides him into battle. incredible.
