History
Kerr was one of two children born at the same time. In fact, he was born mere moments after his sister. When his parents looked at the two babies, they were surprised but happy and were ready to begin a good life with the two of them. He didn't know what possessed them to name him Kerr and his sister Sonata. The two, as kids, were really super close, sneaking into each other's bed and talking quietly with each other. Their parents would often find them holding hands when they came to waked them up. Kerr seemed to totally not mind being the younger twin, often trailing after his sister curiously. When he was around ten, that's when his parents started to get worried about him.
Or rather, the lack of friends he had apart from Sonata. She, had a bunch of friends, but Kerr seemed to only be friends with her and some of her own friends, and one or two guys. Rather, he seemed to avoid most of the boys, thinking of them as bullies and not understanding how wonderful girls could be. But he also avoided most of the girls, finding them catty and bratty for the most part. So he often just listened to music, or read books. His friends were often the bully victims and he tried to stand up to them, to be in turn bullied. But that didn't really bother him as much as the random comments from everyone around him. Was he a girl? He had to affirm several times no, he was a guy.
It bothered him more when at the age of twelve, even his father started to make these comments. Everyone had begun to comment on how girly he was and with determination, he signed up for the basketball club. He doesn't regret it to this day, but it didn't do what he intended it to do. Initially, he had joined to become more manly, but as the years went by, and people commented more and more on how androgynous he looked and how feminine he acted, despite the club, he felt dissatisfied. He gained muscle sure, but it made him lean, not buff. It in fact made him look more like a strong girl then anything else. So in exasperation, he turned to his father for an idea.
And that's when he joined Team Galactic, at the tender age of fifteen. His sister, of course, was with him, as the twins were inseparable. So together, they rose through the ranks, but Kerr had a little bit more of a battle finesse. For a team that valued that the best, his more artistic sister often got side-tracked. But Kerr had learned how to focus, how to strategize and more so, how to engage fearlessly. He still played basketball, their team good enough to win regionals, but they lost in the semi-finals at nationals. It was sad, but when that was done, he was free to truly blaze up Team Galactic's rank. That's when he made it to Elite. He was on the cusp of Adminship, his sister an Elite beside him. They had earned the names Jupiter and Pluto So to decide if he could make it, they sent him off on a mission with her.
It was a very sensitive mission, one that was concerning a rebelling group within the region. No big, capture, interrogate and execute those that refused to stand down. Everything was going wonderfully, until they arrived at one captive, a girl that seemed to be no older then fifteen. When she refused, Kerr went to call the execution, but his sister intervened. She pleaded for him to let her go, and unable to refuse his twin anything, he did. One little girl didn't matter did she? Turns out, she was the target the team had wanted, and was actually the leader of the rebellion.
When they came back to base, the higher ups wanted to kick out whoever was responsible, since the following day one of their important warehouses were destroyed. Originally, his sister wanted to step up. But Kerr convinced her to stay, and went himself. He was booted out of the Team and the region, forced to leave his beloved sister. They struck his name from the list of planets as well, as he had shamed the name too badly for anyone to take it once more. So the duo of Pluto-Jupiter could be no more. And left he did, heading for a region that nobody understood or wanted to approach, Orre. Of course, that region was under Team Cipher's control, but they were content with it, not expending into other regions. Kerr joined the resistance there and fought back, learning to sharpen his abilities. When he had left the team, he had to leave most of his pokemon to be redistributed, but managed to keep only his faithful Glaceon. Whilst he was in the region, he managed to get a Cleffa egg, and held it dear for his sister.
It would be his gift when his exile was over. When he had been exiled at eighteen, he was told it was to last three years. So he spent three years in Orre, and eventually changed his hair and his clothes. He would no longer try to maintain the delusion of he wanted to be manly. He fully embraced his feminine side, and despised his masculine one. With that in mind, he remade his first name to Aera, very close to Aria like his sister's music name. However, he never returned when the time was up, instead going straight to Johto and Kanto. Stopping in front of the council, without his sister's awareness, he argued and pleaded until he was let back in. He managed to keep the Pluto name, but was forced to start as a grunt once more. To that end, he had brought the only other pokemon he had acquired in Orre, the pokemon of a friend that had been captured.
And thus, all that was left was to try and rise through the ranks under his sister's nose. And he did so, hitting officer. Maybe he could get to Elite before she found out... however, his luck didn't hold because one day, he had found her, and that's when he would acquire his Gastly and she her Cleffa. And from then on, Pluto and Jupiter were together once more.
