History
Jayden was born an only child to a pair of water-specializing Pokémon trainers. Growing up in the peaceful Pacifidlog Town, she got plenty of experience with water growing up, as well as her parent's tales of their exploits. The two had once completed all 8 of Hoenn's gyms, but were unable to surpass the Elite Four. They found they had more fun battling alongside each other, and eventually settled down.
However the grand tales of their adventuring days always left the young Jade feeling inadequate, like she'd never be as good of a trainer as her parents would. Even with her doubts, her parents had faith in her and let her roam the world at 13 (10 is much too young) unsupervised to experience the life of a trainer.
Her knowledge of water Pokémon ended up getting her wrapped up with Team Aqua. Feeling less certain than ever it was there that she found another girl, who seemed to be the opposite of everything Jade believed she was. Slowly she found herself becoming infatuated with the other girl, but being uncertain how to proceed or what she should do with her feelings has brought her into a recent slump.
