History
''You look like a boy!'' is a sentence that Kohaku has heard all of her life. Long red hair doesn't even convince them that she's female, it's her strong, blunt features and her flat A chest and non-hourglass hips that convince them otherwise. At least, until one of the guys jokes too far and grabs too low and finds out to his misery that the dude is actually a chick. Not that she cared, living with her aunt because her parents traveled too much and didn't want to take care of her. Her aunt was a strong, tough woman with a sharp tongue, having retired from Team Plasma after her prime. She still kept an eye on them however, and Kohaku found herself more and more disgusted with people assuming things.
Such like pokemon's faithfulness. Where did people get off making them fight? That thought drove her through school, considering most of them went to a pokemon school. She decided to learn other things, and studied more... peaceful ways of being with pokemon. She never wanted to be lazy like the rest of everyone else. Her life was pretty easy, almost no problems apart from her appearance and belief. So she didn't have many events to speak of, until she saw it. The first protest against outlawing battling, the rebellion that Team Plasma put down, not with force, but with words. With peaceful words, they ended the rebellion, manipulating the rebels into submission with their beliefs alone, proving that the pen was mightier then the sword.
She wanted to be like that. So she joined up with the team, and immediately was dispatched over seas. Young, eager, and full of hope at the future, to learn how to make people bend to her words alone, Kohaku found herself going into a strange land. Far from the peace and rolling hills of home, far from everything she had known. Taking her instruments, she wanted to give concerts, often trusting her beloved partner Bucklestart to help carry things for her, always asking and thanking the dear pokemon. She wanted to make a concert that people would feel for, would bend to themselves to the very sound of whatever she composed. However, she needed to find a decent singer first, to sing the lyrics she had written down carefully.
After that, the rest of this region was her next target for the taking!
