In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.
With six groups who can't get along in one area, who knows what kind of zany nonsense will propel one group to victory above all others? It's up to you, the members, to decide! Help us decide who's the best of the best when it comes to Pokemon teams, and have fun at your stay at Heavy Crowns!

Of the three towns that they'd managed to take over Cianwood was one of the more boring ones. Well not boring per-say, it just lacked anything to really do other than make sure that no one was pushing at the ocean border or attempting to explore the weird as hell cave that was tucked away from the public's eye. The gym was shut down and while it wasn't ideal for a headquarters, with all of the gross boulders and whatnot, they'd taken to moving a few things around so that it was more habitable. Freshly manicured nails he set out to find someone to take with him.
By someone he meant Killian. His admin was always trying to avoid him and for all that was holy he had no idea why. Of course that was sarcasm. He knew why the other man preferred to get his orders via the mail rather than deal with him face to face but this time he wasn't going to be able to avoid his fate. "Oh Killian!" Searching around the gym he knew that he had to be somewhere on this island. After all he hadn't authorized him to leave yet and while he was generally relaxed that was something that everyone waited for.
Blythe liked knowing where his people were just in case something went down. Especially since tensions were starting to rise. So many places for them to cover and yet not enough people. Now where could that silly admin of his be?
There three very distinct reasons why Killian absolutely hated Cianwood City. First, there was the small fact that there was almost no where to hide. The town was generally barren, everyone practically knew him due to Team Aqua's dominance, and typically that made the process of hiding nearly impossible. Second, there was nothing to do in Cianwood. While staring out at the sea was always a nice start to the day, he wasn't entirely sure if he could do that all day every day. Third, there was Blythe. He tended to hang around the city often enough, and it was why Killian made it a habit to stay away.
Usually, he preferred his instructions handed in a message. It was easy to senf another message back saying that yes, next time he'll try to meet up with Blythe in person. Then he'd cancel, because Killian preferred to put as much land between him and Abernanthy as he possibly could.
So, where was the one place that was too gross for Abernanthy to go to? A place that was filled with ugly boulders, perhaps? That was why he was currently curled up in a corner of the gym, a book open in his lap and a few boulders pushed around to create something of a nest. "Oh, Abernanthy." He wasn't going to be hiding for much longer, apparently.
"You've found me." He didn't bother pulling himself away from his book, not until he was finished with the paragraph. Once that was done, though, he peeked his head over the top of one of the boulders. "Something you needed, sir?"

There he was! Blythe knew that he would find the other man if he looked around the places he hated then that was where he would find the admin lurking. It was almost like he was intentionally trying to hide from him. Almost. He wasn't someone that liked to be ignored and avoiding him usually met with a terrible fate but since he was sure that his admin was only extremely busy most of the time there was nothing to be up in arms about. Carefully stepping up on one of the boulders so that he can peer into the makeshift nest that his admin had created there was a somewhat mischievous smile on his face.
"Seems like you've made yourself a cute little nest, could probably use some blankets or pillows or something though..." He was distracted now, by the idea of turning these gross rocks into something interesting that could be used by people without having to look at the disgusting color and texture of them. Pulling his hands away he gently rubbed them on his sleeves, trying to get rid of the dusty feeling from the rocks. "Anyways, I wanted to go poke around in the caves again and I need you to go with me."
Well he didn't need him to go with him. As an admin he was more than capable of doing this on. Blythe just didn't want to wander around the dirty cave by himself.
In a way, Killian was expecting Blythe to be upset at him. It was what he'd prepared for, honestly, figuring that he'd probably just get yelled at for avoiding Blythe, since he'd just assumed that it was obvious. Apparently, though, it wasn't obvious at all, and it seemed that his leader had deluded himself into thinking that Killian wasn't flat out avoiding him. Whatever. It worked in the end anyway.
He figured that going the blunt route wasn't a good one. "Yeah, probably. I was just using this as a place to read anyway." He figured it would have worked perfectly fine for that use, and he wasn't intending on returning anyway not that he'd been found. Blythe could do as he wanted with it.
"You need me?" Strange, considering he was more than certain that his leader could take care of himself, but he knew better than to ask questions. "Fine. Any reason why you need me versus any other admin?"
Using the boulder to help Killian stand up, he brushed some of the dust from his pants, looking at Blythe almost expectantly. "Lead the way, then."

Carefully stepping down from the boulder he'd placed himself on he frowned at the amount of dust that had gotten on his boots. It was ridiculous how dirty the earth actually was. He was pleased that Killian hadn't brushed him off and that he wasn't too busy to spend some quality time with him. After all they were supposed to be like one big family, right? Family spent time with each other. "You know I like keeping touch with my Admins! And its been awhile since we had any face to face time."
He'd have to see about them working together more often. If they were going to win this it would require teamwork and he needed to be able to send the right people to the right places. If he remembered right Killian only had one water type and the other's weren't really suited for water battles. How was he supposed to work with his favorite admin if he wasn't even able to hold his own on the open sea!
Taking the cue from Killian he headed out the door and towards the northern part of the island. "I've been thinking..." That of course was a dangerous statement to hear from a man like Blythe. It meant that there was some sort of planning going on inside his brain and that it probably involved even more work for the people involved.
Any attempts at trying to get Killian to willingly pair up with Blythe would be shot down as politely as he could muster. He'd taken plenty of precautions to avoid Blythe as much as possible (though, considering the amount of years he'd spent with Team Aqua in the first place, it was still not enough), and he was going to continue down that road by happily avoiding his leader like it was his job to do so.
Then, Blythe spoke a series of words that chilled Killian's heart the core. A series of words that could only mean the worst.
"That's not usually a good sign." He looked over to manage a little grin at Blythe, hoping he took it like the joke (rare, right?) that Killian meant it to be. "So you've been thinking what?"

He did take it as a joke, luckily enough for his admin anyways. He didn't like being made fun of though he made fun of plenty of people in his own way. It was only a matter of time before he started in with the puns that Killian loved oh so much. Blythe had a moderately thoughtful look on his face as he walked, keeping the other male in suspense for just a moment. "I want to take Olivine... It's a port town with a lighthouse and if we control another water way then that's one less way for the other groups to get supplies. Plasma shouldn't put up too much of a fight, right?" After all weren't they supposed to be more concerned with keeping their pokemon up on a pedestal rather than battling side by side with them? So came the real reason that he wanted his trusted admin to go on a walk with him.
For once, Blythe managed to say something that didn't make Killian either flinch or frown. Instead, he felt a small grin tug at his lips, as he let the words stew around a little. They could take Olivine, though it would be a little challenging.
"Not one we couldn't handle." He was liking this Blythe - the one that didn't make terrible jokes and instead was rather nice to talk to. "We'd need to send someone down to take a look around. Find weak points."
"So do you want me to lead this or do you want a recommendation?"

Stopping on his heel in front of the cave rather than take the few steps remaining to head inside he leaned against the cave wall, knowing that he would regret this action after he pulled away from it and saw how much disgusting dirt had gotten on his jacket. This place was filthy and to him that made it all the more clear that it needed to be cleaned up. "I need you to help me choose who to send. Preferably people who don't have melons for brains and won't mind a quick leap over the ocean for a skirmish." Then again all of his aqua crew should be willing to go the distance in order to carry out their goals. If not then they had no purpose here.
"I'll want you to lead it though, well, lead it as far as getting everyone organized." If he felt so inclined then he would be participating as well. After all it was necessary for a leader to show that they were willing to get their hands dirty, even metaphorically. "We'll also need to gather supplies, this shitty town doesn't have much but at least they have that medicine maker." There was another thing pressing on his mind. As much as he hated to admit it an alliance with one of the other teams could possibly help, both in terms of battles and when it came down to ultimately betraying them.
Apparently they weren't actually going in the cave yet, and in a way Killian wasn't disappointed. For once, Killian was actually having some sort of fun while talking with Blythe, and it was helping to keep his tongue in check and just generally staying respectful. Nodding along with what Blythe was saying, he figured he could help out plenty. "I can give you a list of elites and grunts that I feel would work best. It'll take me a day or two to put one together, though." Considering all the work he'd have to go to checking to see who would even be on board with an Olivine take over, it was a generally good portion of time. At least, Killian thought so.
"I can do that." As far as organizing went, and if Blythe wanted him to go further, then it wasn't going to be an issue. So long as it wasn't tagged with some bad joke. "A medicine maker is just as important as anything, though. We can get supplies from one of the other towns, too. See about subtly importing supplies so as to avoid suspicion." He shrugged a little, though a different idea came to mind.
"We could also form an alliance. Get some help with taking Plasma out of the picture."

Having an admin that knew what he was doing was far more refreshing than having to repeat himself and deal with things getting misconstrued and ruined by a bumbling idiot that had no idea what was going on. That's how he imagined things going on in Magma for sure. After all how else could the obviously flawed organization work? "Take the time that you need but not too long, we don't want someone to beat us to the punch after all." Then again if they did they could always come in after they reigning team was weakened and launch an attack against them.
Creating an alliance would be the best way to go about this. But with whom would it be most beneficial? One of the teams that didn't have conquering aspects would be the best way to go. That way if it came down to it they wouldn't have a conflict of interest. "I want you to send word to team flare... They don't seem to be the strongest but then again they aren't pathetic. Plus their clothes aren't so bad." It may have seemed shallow to put it like that but everyone knew the aqua leader had an intolerance for hideous things.

blythe abernanthy & open, not even apologizing for this being short.
Team Flare, of course. If Killian had been expecting anything other than Flare, he was a fool and he knew it. They stood to Blythe's expectations of fashion, and to Blythe, they probably seemed easiest to throw away once they were done filling their use. Killian liked that strategy, to say the least, and he found that, for once, he had no qualms with what Blythe had planned.
"I can send a letter out by tonight, then. Would you rather talk with their leader face to face or should I try to contact another admin?" Best to get these sorts of questions out of the way before settling down and starting to plan, only to make some big mistake that would take longer to fix. "Or, we could try to contact Flare together? Leader and admin meeting with another leader and admin."
Post by blythe abernanthy on Oct 22, 2014 13:41:52 GMT -6
Now there was the question of how to meet with the other team. Obviously there would need to be a face to face between leaders. He didn't trust information going through multiple sources in situations like these. The last thing he needed was some crossed wires. At the same time though he would be stupid to just go alone. "Set up a meaning between the four of us. I'm not so stupid to think that they wouldn't try and blindside me if I went alone." He was capable of taking care of himself but if it came down to it he wouldn't be able to fend off an army alone, well... Maybe he could? Not that he wanted to try.
Killian nodded, making a mental note to do all of these things that Blythe was telling him to do. "I'll send out a letter by tonight, then. We'll hopefully get a response within the week." An alliance with Flare would, definitely, make them stronger. It was a necessary push to get that bonus power that they needed to break through Rocket's walls.
"Change of topic, though. Is there any, uh, reason why you lead me to the cave?" Somehow, he had a feeling that this was a seg-way into a discussion that Killian had tried to avoid for a long time. At the same time, though, he was still curious.
