In a world where no ten-year-old children rose up to defeat the teams that threatened to take over their region, all six organizations worldwide were able to do just that: take over their respective regions. Unsatisfied with control over just their home, however, each set their sights on the mainland – Kanto, Johto, and the surrounding areas – only to find that they weren't the only ones with that same idea.
With six groups who can't get along in one area, who knows what kind of zany nonsense will propel one group to victory above all others? It's up to you, the members, to decide! Help us decide who's the best of the best when it comes to Pokemon teams, and have fun at your stay at Heavy Crowns!

New Bark Town, it really wasn't much to look at it be quite honest. Of course, the white-haired male tried to make the best out of the small little town. There was only so much to do here, so he slightly wondered why he of all people had been sent here. Of course, he and his partner sphinx, could handle anything that was thrown their way as long as they had help doing it. The question still stood however as to why it was new bark town that flare wanted to keep so bad. There wasn't all that much in it.
Yet, it seemed like another team was finding their way into the area. A sigh escaped his mouth as he checked his watch for the third time. There was supposed to be another flare member that was supposed to join him on this little quest but no one had shown up. Axel was honestly starting to get a little disappointed .. and started to wonder if he was set up for some reason. Maybe it was flynn who had done it.. though he didn't see the blonde going that far for a joke on him.
A small smile formed when he thought of the other but he was quickly cut out of his thoughts as out of the corner of his sight he saw a figure coming into view. Maybe this was the person that was sent to help him, or maybe it was the people trying to take new bark town. Either way, Axel found himself gripping sphinx's pokeball at his waist ready to summon the snake if the need came for it. After all.. Axel didn't want to risk being defenseless, and this early in the morning fog had set in.
"Whoever is there reveal yourself" he shouted into the fog. Well he certainly gave away his position if it was an enemy.. but hopefully that wasn't the case.

A small town with not much to do in it. Though, it was quaint and would be a nice place to settle down, but for Artemis, it wasn't what he liked. The people that lived here were boring, and nothing really happened. There was the Pokémon lab and he supposed he could terrorise help out a few new trainers, but those were rare to find now.
Having been in the area and scouting around, Artemis did notice what looked to be members of the opposing team sneaking around the town. So, he reported what he saw, then took it upon himself to see if he could deal with whoever it was. It was his job as an admin, right? But, suppose it got kind of rough. He would need backup, though preferably one person so that he and them didn't look too conspicuous. If he had a team of grunts filing around him, the scout from the other team would see them and flee.
So, he asked one of the other admins to assign someone random to him. He wanted a surprise. Someone he had never really interacted with before. That was who Artemis was on his way to see right now, at the designated meeting place. Adjusting the scarf wrapped tightly around his neck, Artemis caught sight of his partner for the day, though through the fog it was hard to see. It seemed that his partner saw him, what with the shouting into the fog.
What any normal person would have done would be to walk directly to the person they were meeting. Artemis was far from normal. He had decided to sneak around, using the fog and whatever else he could for cover. And then, a minute later, he was walking up behind the elite, who had earlier saw him out of the corner of his eye, trying not to grin as he made his presence known. "Boo." Completely deadpan, but he wasn't really trying to scare the other Flareling... Well, he was, but if he was any louder he might give away their position should another team be lurking around - if they hadn't located the previous shouting already.

The elite had caught sight of the other for a moment, before suddenly the form seemed to disappear. Okay.. he wasn't good with this creepy crap. Maybe that was why no one wanted to be here.. especially with this fog that seemed to have come from nowhere. Oh god he couldn't do haunted places, no no no nope.. he was done he was sooo done with this mission. He was a writer for pete's sake.. he couldn't handle ghosts... he never had any experience with them .. but they still creeped him the hell out.
So when he heard a slight noise behind him the white-haired elite turned to find himself in front of a slightly larger man who said a simple sound. "Boo." A shark squeal came from the dark-skinned boy as he fell right on his ass out of fear. His heart beat so fast in his chest he was afraid it was going to jump out of his mouth somehow as his adrenaline kicked in much too soon. It was too early in the morning for this.. finally the elite seemed to realize that the other was no ghost.
In fact, it seemed to be an admin that was now standing before him. Quickly trying to recover the male got back up on his feet in a moment. "What the fucking hell.." he hissed under his breath at the other. He really hadn't expected this.. from an admin no less. If the enemy didn't know their location they certainly did now from the elite's scream that had echoed only a moment ago. In fact .. the area got eerily quiet and that gave Axel the creeps again.
"Oh I hate scary shit..." he mumbled glancing around now.. the fog obscuring his vision from just what was out there...

Whoops. Okay, if the other team hadn't found them already, they were definitely going to find them now, what with the white-haired elite's loud squeal as he stumbled backwards and fell onto his ass. While he did feel slightly bad at causing such a reaction from the other - who looked absolutely terrified - Artemis mostly felt glee. It was extreeemely funny to see someone pretty much crap their pants.
"Oopsie daisy. You've my apologies." He wasn't going to say he was sorry, because that would mean he would be recognising that he was at fault. Artemis preferred to use the more ambiguous phrase "my apologies" in order to dance around his involvement in the situations. To make it seem like he was genuinely sorry for scaring the other, Artemis was about to stretch out a hand to help them up, but they had already made it to their feet by the time Artemis had his hand out.
It took a moment for the elite's hiss to register as being directed at him, but Artemis simply grinned at him before he peered around the other. It did seem like there was somebody out there. Artemis glanced down at the other - the extra height his boots' heels gave him was something he greatly appreciated as it made him feel more poweful - and looked him up and down. "Alright, good, you got my message. You're not in the uniform. Makes us more inconspicuous." He said, keeping his voice quiet as he reached into his coat to draw out Hestia's Pokéball. "So, Baxter - it is Baxter, right?" Better check to make sure he had the right name.
Meanwhile, Artemis summoned Hestia from her Pokéball. Sure enough, a small Vulpix appeared, stretching out before turning to look at her trainer. "Use Ember to clear up some of this fog." It would be a lot easier to see anyone that was lurking in the fog.

Axel didn't know what was worse, the fact that he had gotten scared so easily or the fact that it seemed to amuse the admin before him. He wasn't all that happy about it either, as the slightly taller man seemed almost giddy about what he had done. So far, Axel wasn't happy about this situation at all.. and he wasn't about to feel any better with this creepy fog and the threat of another person or person(s) being out there.
"Sure I bet I do." he grumbled under his breath. At this point he didn't even care if the other heard him either since he was so amused at his fumble. His hand came a bit to late as he was already back up on his feet and patting himself off. This was one of his good outfits after all .. and it was probably dirty. Sigh. He would have to make sure to change later. Even at his hiss the other only just grinned back at him as if he was totally innocent in this whole thing. Oh Axel would make sure to get back at him later... somehow.
Then the other started looking him over and Axel.. almost felt disturbed. He made a face at the other and resisted moving his hands to cover his body. "You do realize.. that was extremely creepy, and yes I got the message. You know I can read right? I'm an author for pete's sake." he said flatly but low back to the other. This guy was on his nerves already and he hadn't been with him for more than a few minutes. "It's -Axel- " he said, making sure to put a hint that he didn't like to be called Baxter.
At seeing the Vulpix the male sighed enlarging his own pokeball before releasing sphinx from his own. The golden arbok instantly finding its way to the white-haired elite's legs. A very protective snake indeed, Axel couldn't help but feel a bit better with him out. "So.. how bad are we talking? " he asked silently under his breath. He hoped this mission that he had been sent on... wouldn't be.. that hard.

Checking people out was kind of a natural thing for Artemis to do, and as such he didn't usually notice when he did so. Sometimes, he was completely aware of it - one such time was with that Team Magma admin he stole from - but others, such as now, he didn't really notice. It as mainly due to him making sure that the elite could pass as a civilian of New Bark Town. He had to make sure they weren't wearing anything that could be taken as I'm a member of Team Flare, hide from me.
What was extremely creepy? Artemis blinked, a blank expression on his face. He did nothing wrong - right? Wrong, he was looking a bit too closely at the white-haired elite's body, but that didn't register with Artemis. He simply shrugged it off. "I know you can read, I was just unsure as to whether you actually got the note." The red-head could feel himself pouting. He really wasn't liking the hostility he was getting from the other. It wasn't even the kind of hostility that would make him excited or wary! This boy just seemed, well, pathetic, really.
"Axel. Gooot it~" He hummed, quickly taking the hint that they didn't like being called Baxter. If this wasn't a mission, he would keep calling Axel 'Baxter', but right now he neeed his full cooperation if he were to complete this mission successfully.
Out of the corner of his eye, while he watched Hestia firing off small flames from her mouth, Artemis caught a glimmer of gold. Curious, he turned his head to see a golden Arbok. His eyes widened in surprise, before his expression changed to show that he was impressed by the creature. "You seen anyone else out today~?" He asked, acting as though he was just a normal citizen off on a walk with someone they were just acquaintances with and making some lovely small talk - when really, he was asking if Axel had seen anything suspicious.

Obviously the red-haired admin didn't realize that he had been.. staring at Axel. A small frown crossed his face as the other seemed almost confused as to why Axel had called him out on that being creepy. The white-haired elite just sighed and reminded himself that later he would have to remind the other not to stare. Yet suddenly it seemed as if the other was pouting at him.
H-hey wait a minute, it wasn't Axel's fault any of this had happened. It was the red-headed admins fault. If anything -Axel- should have been the one pouting. "H-Hey.. don't pout like that..." he said. Axel wasn't good with this kind of thing.. and he gave in way too easily to the other, to anyone really. "Okay.. sorry.. " he said quickly to make sure the other hadn't stayed mad at him.. if he was mad. " You scared me earlier and I thought you were still being mean to me." he said.
At least after he had said it, the other used the name he preferred. Axel couldn't stand his real name.. in fact he would probably changed it officially to Axel when he got the chance. Even on his newspaper everyone knew him as Axel and not by Baxter. "Thanks..." he said softly. Not really sure what he was thanking the other for, the proper of his name.. or that the fog was going to be cleared. He would just sit on the thanks for now and hope the other didn't get a big head from it.
Axel, however, didn't catch that the other gawking at his golden arbok. Though.. Axel didn't really get that the pokemon was different than others. Sure he had a golden body, but ... he was still normal right? Axel had always treated Sphinx like his was normal and that was all that mattered. Axel did raise a brow however when the red-haired male started talking funny. "uh.. no." he said slowly not quite catching on to what the other wanted. Sphinx however nudged his leg some to let him know that he sensed another presence.
OH! OH! Forcing on a happy smile like they were the bestest friends in the world Axel suddenly looped his arm with Artemis and started pulling him down the small path they were on. "But that doesn't matter right? Cause all I need is you." he said. On the inside though.. he was ready to choke on those words.. this guy.. he really wasn't his type at all..

It seemed that it was very easy to make Axel feel bad about something. Artemis was surprised by it, but he stopped such an expression from appearing his face by putting a neutral one on his face. An apology? The elite definitely felt guilt way too easily. He wouldn't be good if he had to infiltrate a building - then again, he had no reason to do so. He was just a writer. "Apology accepted," though Artemis really did not need the apology, he just wanted to play with Axel just a little. "Oh, no. I wouldn't still be mean," Yeah, he would, "I kind of feel bad for scaring you, soo." Not really.
When it came to names, Artemis was prone to using names other than his birth name, though not out of preference. He did like the name Artemis, but he found that it stuck out a bit too much in someone's mind - especially since it was typically more of a feminine name, and Artemis identified as male. So, it would stick out. That was why when a lot of a time when he introduced himself to someone, he used a different name - names like Apollo, Arys, Percival. Uncommon names that still stood out, but he liked them over more bland names like... James. Such a name wouldn't fit Artemis anyway.
When it came to Team Flare, he stuck to one name. Adonis. That was the name he was registered under in Flare's registry, the name of one of their admins. Only a select few within Flare knew his real name - the other admins, the leader of course, a couple of elites. Not many. Most "Flarelings" would call Artemis by Adonis, and that was fine with him. If he began to particularly trust someone, he would reveal to them his real name, Artemis, but only if he trusted that they wouldn't give away his identity.
The thanks that Artemis received from Axel went ignored as Artemis focused his attention on the Arbok. He had heard tales of Pokemon that were coloured differently to the rest, but he had never seen one before. Supposedly, his father had a "shiny", but Artemis had never seen it, and he didn't know why, though he also didn't question it.
It seemed that the elite didn't quite catch on to what Artemis was asking, and Artemis didn't particularly want to explain in case he gave them away. Luckily, the Arbok managed to alert his trainer, and so Artemis was left to - okay why was he suddenly being pulled along the path with his arm linked with Axel's?
The sudden change in mood from Axel completely caught Artemis off-guard, and it must have showed on his face briefly before he put a grin to his face, though he was honestly still surprised at the sudden happiness that overtook Axel. Artemis guessed that it was fake, and he was grateful for the elite starting to act as a different person, but he really was expecting something more subtle.
He must admit, the "all I need is you" was kind of creepy and it brought back memories that Artemis would honestly like to completely forget, but he knew that later, when he had time to think, they would resurface. Though for now, he pushed them back down, turning his head to tip his head to the side at Axel. "Noo, don't be silly. You need other people that aren't me! I can't provide everything you'll need in life."
